Guild : OBEY (The Legacy) I call it Obay , TLC (WvW) , UNIV (other)
Server : FA
They are most like going to sell expansion with real life money. Up to this point they have been adding in small expansion for free but they WILL add in major expansion that will cost money that what they did in GW1 i am not sure why any one would think the other way. So yes you will be paying for new zones maybe new races and i hope for major story arcs (odds are continuation of the main story to a point).
Vulcan miniguns with DPS of 5x 100b and with friendly fire enabled.
I would love to blast all those people sitting at the TP/Bank all day.
Weapons skins from guild wars. So I can finally have my eternal blade lol.
-Eve’s Armor from GW1
-Mini Quaggan Pirate/Ghost
And a recharge for my golem banker.
Player housing with some sort of customization within the whole area is a good idea, especially if you can landscape, add plants, non aggro mobs/pets, and perhaps jumping puzzles for visitors.
I think lots of folks would like that
Would have to be a self contained dimension type thing so it did not interfere with other players of course
Warhammer used to have trophies that you could hang from your armor. Medals, badges, skulls, shrunken heads etc. I’d love to have stuff like that.
I want weapon and armor skins, I looked over some of the GW1 ones, and… can we have them please? Some of them are AMAZING.

under the costumes…
No.
Content should never be hidden behind toll gates and I’m very glad that Anet does not do this.
I would like more cosmetic armor and weapons and cool little things like the box o’ fun.
Agree completely with both statements.
More gw1 armor. Maybe some weapon skins to.
Custom underwear…
Quaggan anyone? lol
1) I’d like to be able to purchase some of the costumes I see NPCs wearing. Particularly in and around Divinty’s Reach.
2) I’d like to be able to use those as overlay in combat.
3) and if costumes AREN’T available for overlay in combat, they ought to have built in speed boosts for the cities.
The current selection of costumes (even with a few event “bones” thrown in) is not enough.
If they start charging players via gem shop for content, I wont even bother with the game anymore. I’d probably go back to Guild wars 1 and my other games haha. They should just keep it cosmetic type of stuff.
SO GW2 DLC? Use gems to buy Cantha, Elona, New mysterious continents? Saves me space as I have none for boxes.
there are tons of cosmetics needed for RPers big time, they are missing sooooo many cosmetics it’s not even funny.
music instruments and a song system like LOTRO
housing system like Rift with store bought items to decorate (they would have made such a killing on this instead of the path they took to force people to buy gems for progression)
mounts that don’t move faster then 33% (motorcycles for one) and underwater faster swimming gear.
Race change after finishing personal story mode since the ending sucks for every race.
Two things. Cute mini pets like quaggans, and items which make me interact with other people. Like snowballs that allow me to knock people down. Or pie that I can throw into someone’s face.
name change, name change, name change…it’s about frakkin time…come on!
Generally I just want more content. If I had to nail it down, then here would be my list:
1. The ‘Ravenheart Witchwear’ Costume from GW1. I loved this piece, esspecially for the female. Was rather sad to find that the GW2 witch costume lacked the modernized touch. It had too many bones and pointy objects. One day I hope we’ll get something smoother in concept like the Ravenheart.
2. I would love to see some more classic type fantasy skins for gear. It could all range from weapons to backpieces, but they’ll play homage to your stereotypical fantasy stories, like elf ears (bad example though, I know). Still, there’s plenty of things to pull from the lore. Heck, even playing homage to modern fantasy stories would be awesome – like a Harry Potter wand for scepters? You made a Gandalf hat basically, so why stop there?
3. More emotes please. I’m not talkin’ about the standard stuff we should have (like ‘roar’). I’m thinking since we’d be dropping money, then they should give us objects in addition to rockin’ animations.
For example, “study” could be an emote to purchase. You character would bust out a big magical book and start sifting though pages like they’re reading intensely. Heck, they could even cast random spells during intervals that’ll do stuff like make frogs with tophats appear. lol… YES PLEASE!
4. More spiffy finishers.
Oh my gosh, the costumes they had in Guild Wars 1. Beautiful or funny AND wearable in combat. I want that back.
Add my vote for skins. Armor skins, Weapon Skins, Town Clothes.
I’ll be honest, I am completely dumbfounded that the gem store isn’t already filled to the brim with these. They should have two or three talented artist/modelers working full time doing nothing but churning out new skins for the gem store.
$millions of potential revenue gone because they can’t manage to produce skins in a timely manner? I really don’t get it.
Anyone notice how the OP is the only person who claims to want game content locked up in the cash shop?
Guess what, its not sitting well. No. Tell your boss that.
I dont see the issue with this, afterall thats exactly what expansions are, paid content only available to the people who choose to pay for it.
Here’s an idea. Town clothes are all available in-game, from vendors, TP, quests, etc.
In the gem shop, you can buy “Town Clothes Skins”, which are versions of the town clothes that you can apply to combat armor.
more town clothes!!
Since I also use the gem shop I would like
- My own city / guild hall where my heroes or NPC’s hangout and greet me like Lord Faren or Dinky .
-Better looking light armor , the one in the gem shop right now is horrid .
- More variety in armor and back pieces .
- Fluff items like a canoe with a fishing pole to fish the lakes of Tyria
- More dancing emotes , I actually miss the female Ele dance in the first GW they should sell it here along with the disco ball .
Musical Instruments.
No no no no no. Did the choir bells teach us nothing?
Roleplay animations! And if housing is ever implemented, furniture.
I want gem prices (in gold) to drop a bit.
I am not a big user of the gem shop mainly because I do not find much in there worth buying. Some things that would get me to spend some cash are:
- New leveling zones
- New Races
- New Story ArcsThese are three things I would be glad to pay for and are something that could be implemented without forcing others to purchase them. What things would you like to see in the shop?
New zones and new story arcs are absolute non-starters for me. Anything that separates the community by payers and non-payers is a crime against nature, and must be beaten, mutilated, burned and have it’s ashes scattered to the seven winds (yeah, there are seven).
I’m not keen about purchased races either.
Give me more tinsel in the shop. Dances, town clothes, mini-pets, weapon skins, armor skins, various emotes, etc. I’d even buy special dye for my inventory bags (maybe). Frivolous stuff. But NOT playable content. NEVER playable content.

Yeah. Me too.
/sad
Big NO on purchasing races. You’ll send me on another tirade about SWTOR’s F2P-but-only-if-you-want-to-play-human business model.
I want to be able to buy precursors and finished legendaries! Come on ANet, 3rd party gold sellers are already doing it. You all are losing out on big cash revenue by not having this!!
Skins, skins, and more skins. Weapons and more armor variety. Things don’t need to be ultra-rare to be sought after, they can simply look good. They do need to look good. A Foefire’s Essence skin would be the perfect place to start, hehe.
Also, a soulbound to account bound transmutation stone for weapons and armor would be nice for the altoholic.

Housing! Seriously. I want a house. I want to hang trophies of things I’ve killed and plaques of achievements. Patterns for my tailor to make throw rugs and my huntsman to make….stuff. My cook to make food stuff! Roast longhorn on a platter in the middle of the dining room table.
Fishing! I’ll pay gems for better fishing poles, bait. Obviously fishing has to be in the game first.
Account wide dye. I’d pay gems to make any dyes I learn account wide for present and future characters.
Gathering boost. Unless it’s there and I’ve missed it, I’d buy gathering boosts that increase my gathers by 2x or more. But every time, not just a .01% chance.
A WP something that eliminates WP costs for 24 hours or something.
I buy karma boosts. I’ve bought a few crafting boosts and some BL chest keys before.
Mostly though, I buy gems to convert to gold. Yes, I do.
Hell yeah, I want a house. I want real estate. My character needs a hideaway and a sabbatical now and then. Stop the killing, and focus on some cooking for a few days.
Name Change.
Skins.
I want gem prices (in gold) to drop a bit.
Only way that’ll happen is when demand goes down. Only way that will happen is if ANet completely stops putting items on the gem store. I don’t think they’ll be too interested in doing that.
On DLC-style content packs/expansions? Provided they’re at a reasonable price and are meaty enough, I wouldn’t have a problem with it. I wonder how they’d interact with World Exploration, though.
More clothes would be a godsend for ANet to implement. I’m very surprised that they haven’t already done this. Huge amounts of clothing models already in-game.
-Dancing animations
-Weapon glow / effect
-Skritt backpack
-Race Change
Take my money ArenaNet!

Skins….Weapon Armor etc Some more GW1 skins would be very welcome.
That is all
Very much this.
I’d compile a full list, but it’d get way too long.
But if it could include some light armours that don’t have skirts (Mesmer Elite Rogue’s, Ele Obsidian, etc) and/or some medium armours that don’t have longcoats (Ranger furlined, assassin Canthan etc), then I would buy them so fast. As things stand, the light and medium gem store skins aren’t very good.
In terms of weapon skins, there’s lots of great ones, but my favourites are the GW1 bonus mission pack skins.
Hello.
I’d like to see weapon skins(rifles badly need more skin) ,more armor skin ,and…more than all a CHANGE RACE SCROLL,that allow me to change race without lose skill points, die, soulbound items, karma, craft progression, etc etc.
If in order to have it they need to reset my personal story, reset it…take my money, give me that scroll!
:P Regards!
1) Unbreakable Harvesting Tools — character bound
2) Everlasting Bank Golem
3) The ability to buy individual minis
All actual armour skins should only be attainable in game by playing. All skins in the shop should be town clothes only, imo.
They could have 1 or 2 artists working full time making armor skins and weapon skins every month. They would be generating more money than a subscription based game.
You think people wouldn’t spend money shopping around for clothing? Why? Because no one does that in the real world right? We always wear the same clothes everyday. What planet do you come from?
