i want to find the blackest dye there is and i found that useing the little sample they give you when you hover the mouse of the dye that Midnight ice is darker the abyss but everyone says that abyss is darker?

Midnight ice definitely looks darker than abyss. The thing about it that makes it cheaper (I think), is that it’s way too dark.

It depends on the material. Different materials make dyes look different, and sometimes, even on the same material, gradients can happen.
If you have the chance to preview, always preview a dye before buying it, preferably on whatever armour you plan to use it on.

Also, this site may be helpful to you, it has screenshots of the dyes on actual armour.

I dont get why people say abyss is dark the previews on that site clearly show midnight ice is alot more darker

Midnight Ice looks like it’s so dark it hides most / all of the texture.

Abyss looks better.
