Q:
What grinds your gears? List of complaints:
- complaint. Guild Wars 2 IS NOT a successor to Guild Wars. It’s like a cheap knock-off.
Mud Bone – Sylvari Ranger
The fact that we were told people are stupid, and to compensate we are removing the idea that people can learn.
That’s what really grinds my gears. Anet has no faith in in player base. They believe everyone is so dumb they will continue to stand in the fire no matter what.
2) The New leveling fiasco: I quite simply think this is kitten, and also annoying. Can’t view Vistas or get PoI until lvl 10? Why would you do this, now after I go through an area with my Character just so I can lvl up to lvl 10, I have to go through it all over again just to get these points to get map completion. Simply stupid.
Don’t know where your getting your info from but I started a new character after patch release and could get POIs and vistas right away. as for the skill points there isn’t really any reason to gather them until utility skills get unlocked unless u want them just sitting there getting unused.

You can get them if you know where they are but (at least for low levels) these are not displayed on the map! Concerning the skill points: Would you rather gather skill points and spend them once you unlock utility slots or having to backtrack to zones you already completed just to get stuff you couldn’t do the first time?
Ah, a thread like I was just about to make!
1) Leveling. The unlocking of things is just way too slow. I don’t need any hand holding, the moment I need the amount of “help” I get with this game, it’s the moment when I probably don’t even know how to turn on my PC.
2) Queen Jennah. Nice, I’ll have a birthday coming up at the end of September and I’ll get a mini I cannot even stash anymore! (I’ll presume the not showing of the minis in PvE maps is a bug)
3) PS pointer. Simple: GET RID OF THAT ANNOYING ARROW! It distracts me from the more important movements on the screen. I already never liked the fact that it was always visible on screen, but now that it is actually a moving thingie, it’s even more annoying.
4) Some strange icon on my map. No idea what it is. I just see a strange huge icon on my map (standing in Plains of Ashford now) in Lake Feritas. Hmm, but I’m all the way near the portal to Blazeridge Steppes… Why the hell would I want to see that icon? Or is that part of the “people are so stupid they cannot even breath without our guiding them” system this patch introduced?

You can turn off the PS pointer from the options menu.

I had to search for it, but I found it. Thank you!
You want to know what grinds my gears?
It’s the chain I beat you with until you
recognize my command!”
