So here it is- what happend to the Daggers?
back in the original GW there were Loads of awesome dagger skins.
now it seems like the daggers are kind of left out…

Lets face it, the dagger is a small weapon, and therefore, if it doesnt have any glow on it or something that really stands out then it they just mostly look the same.

I like how in the original GW you had alot of different kinds like double bladed daggers, fist weapon-like daggers and ofc the usual kind like you see in GW2.

Now the only way of getting a cool skinned dagger wich is slightly different is to get the Centurions Claw. But in order for you to get it- you must have 13 hall of monument points from GW1 wich is for some players (like myself who got hacked and lost his old gw account) is impossible (or just a waste of time) to get right now.

I think its only fair to ask for some cooler/ more diverse dagger skins…

So THAT’S how you get those daggers, the best dagger skin in the game in my opinion. That’s a kick in the teeth.. I mean, I understand that they wanted to give GW1 players something cool, but it really sucks that alot of the best skins are not available to us that didn’t play it.

They have about 81 Daggers available currently,take your pick and wait for new daggers in the Future.

Still, the game is young and more skins WILL arrrive!

I’d say staff users are MUCH worse off than dagger users tho, (at least untill Final Rest is found).

These things are personal preference of course, but I just got the dagger skins I liked, namely Warden Dagger and Dagger of the Dragon’s Deep. Maybe take a look at these if you haven’t already. They aren’t over the top or scream attention, but I do like their skin nevertheless. I also like Melandru’s Gaze particularly as a staff skin, same comment as for the daggers.
Thanks for reminding me of the centurion claw though, might use it for my precision stacking (ugly) dagger:P.

so if I were to buy guild wars 1, cold I get all the cool stuff they are give the others, or is it like a you played this before this so we are giving you this thing?

Claw of the Desert and Moonshank are two very awesome dagger skins. The Whispers Secret Dagger is also nice, though it is a bit too flat.

Edit: Fractal Daggers are also a very unique skin, reminiscent of the Mursaat weapons in GW1.

WTB: Centurion Claw with 2000 gems.

And fractal dagger? What fractal weapons? (After 500+ fractals)

It did take quite a long time for all that variety to hit GW1 remember.. GW2 is young in comparison, hopefully as the years roll by it’ll be filled with a nice variety of skins

That’s what I’m seeing now they didn’t advertise and it took people a while to find a comprehensive database of the way these daggers look when equipped but there are plenty of skins trust me.
