So when we were told in the Twitch vid that items in game that have a percent to activate on critical hit was going to be changed to 100% on critical hit but yet I do not see this anywhere. They made it sound like everything was going to be changed to 100% and even hinted to start buying up things before the patch. So wtf? were we lied to? Is it still coming in a different patch? Whats going on?
Can I get an answer please?
They either decided against it or merely improved the chances instead. Alot of the on-crit sigils had the %’s improved.
Either that or they were talking about the Sigil of Intelligence where its 100% TO critical hit.
Just because you made an assumption doesnt mean it’s actually going to happen. A lot of sigils that USED to be on crit (water sigils for example) were changed to on hit. Not all of them are even a 100% chance either.

I didn’t make an assumption. Anet said it themselves in the stream so thanx for making the assumption that I made the assumption.
They said “all” items that were proc on crit hit will be 100%proc on crit hit and instead they changed it to a %proc on hit and then maybe a few of them are now 100 on hit.
They shouldn’t have said to start buying these items in the stream and give false hope.
This is more about your choice to rely on word of mouth to make a decision than to wait until patch notes actually come out so you can see what changed, and how it was changed. That or you simply misunderstood what they were in fact changing.
Anet also said GW2 wouldn’t be a grindy game. What they say and what they mean are two different things.
Have you checked the “Superior Sigils” yet?
The way it is right now, it goes for 25% on Minor ones, 50% on major, and 100% on superior.
The superior ones cost a lot to get, though..

No they are all not all 25%, 50%, 100% but the cool down is less per tier of sigil.
For example, sigil of air is:
Minor: 50% cool down 7 seconds
Major: 50% cool down 5 seconds
Superior: 50% cool down 3 seconds
I must say though if sigils such as air and fire were 100% on crit with a 3 second cool down they would be way OP.

You’re wrong.
While the on-crit sigils are split between ones where the chance is static regardless of rarity and those where it varies no on-crit sigil has a 100 chance. The max is 60% (nullification, strength and earth).
