Q:

So since the feature update all pvp items seem to be gone. I was mainly playing PvP a while ago and didn’t care to level my characters. Does that mean I’m screwed now, because the level 80 characters get much better equipment? Or do I miss something?

Is PvP/PvE balance off now? It was nice knowing that everyone basicly had the same equipment and sPvP was purely skill-based. Was that destroyed by the patch or do I also miss something here?

You’re fine. Low level items have max level stats in SPvP. If you’re missing an item the old weapon guy is still there to sell you a basic no frills one for a couple of silver.

Thanks, it seems ANet doesn’t want to change anything about that.

I just bought a non-level 80 weapon and joined a server. The stats were still not the same as one of the level 80 weapons that are beeing sold.

I have no idea about PvE items, but are they superior, inferior or equal to the PvP items?

Technically, weapons in PvP have no stats. When you hover over an item in the mists, those added attributes or rarity have no effect.

Every weapon has 0 attributes and is considered exotic in rarity (for damage purposes) in PvP regardless of what weapon you are holding. Be it a simple White or even an Ascended.

Duty is heavier than death.
