Guild Wars 2

I have 30g but I still can’t afford to craft the new ascended backpiece (koss on koss). Is 30g too casual? I can understand that ascended items shouldn’t be given out with minimal effort, but it took me a while to save up 30g and that’s still not enough. What is the expectation in term of gold or time in acquiring ascended items? Thanks.

Someone in game told it cost them about 65g (before the trading post sky rocketed in price) to make a back piece, if that’s not a grinding gear treadmill i don’t know what is, too me this is exactly like every other gear mmo out there.

I will believe Anets stories when Acsended gear starts appearing as easy as Exotics until then i’m up in the air about the whole game…

I’m actually playing less already since the whole Ascended fiasco dropped on what was a great casual game, even the whole legendary stuff put a sour taste in my mouth but at least the stats were the same.

wow… is having 60g+ pretty common in this game? It seems like some people have no problem with the cost of ascended back piece. How are they able to save up so much gold?
