its only available to people who played and linked there account to guild wars 1

is there no way for me to adquire this without playing GW1? I caant see it on TP and I really dont want to play the clunky GW1 just for that skin…. we lack a lot of good options for staves, i finally found a good one and it is gated by another game i wasnt even completely aware of its existence back in my old MMO days…

No way to get it unless you guy buy GW1 and its expansions and play that for awhile and link that account to your GW2 account.

Unlikely it’ll become available. It’s one of the “loyalty” rewards for playing GW1 in depth. It would be insulting for ANet to offer it as a regular option, and they know what sort of backlash there’d be even if most that have access to it don’t use it. (I used it until I hit L80 and got a Mystic, as I also found it to be a quite attractive/elegant skin.)
