Besides the titles that came with the core game on release, what is the oldest title in the game that cant be acquired anymore?

I would imagine it being “Emissary of the Mad King” and “Apprentice Toymaker.” Those titles were only obtainable during Halloween and Christmas in 2012.

Emissary of the Mad King would be the first, I would reckon. But The Lost Shores in Southsun Cove and Fractals got released before Wintersday, so I would say they introduced more titles before Apprentice Toymaker.

I think loyal and combat medic were the first, loyal was first birthday and combat medic was revives in wvw/pvp/maybe pve.

Combat medic is a core skill and was in game at launch, and Loyal was, as you said, birthday title, introduced a year after launch, long after the abovementioned titles.

The first two titles introduced after launch should be Emmisary of the Mad King and Master Carver (both from the first halloween event, shortly after launch). Next ones should be Flame and frost (Avenger of the disposessed, Refugee Volunter), southsun (Southsun Stalwart and 2 Crab Toss titles, possibly some fractal ones i can’t remember offhand), and finally Wintersday (apprentice Toymaker, possibly some others)
Might have missed some, but the two Halloween ones are definitely the first ones.

The OP was asking for earliest titles that can no longer be acquired, not just oldest.

• Emissary of the Mad King & Apprentice Toymaker were first available in 2012 and are no longer obtainable.
• The list of titles includes several others that could have been obtained sooner than those two, but as far as I can tell, each can still be earned. For example, Miniature Collector could have been obtained on day 1 and can still be obtained (albeit, through a slightly different mechanic/achievement).

no, he asked besides core titles from launch, HoM titles are no core titles but HoM specific titles only available for GW1 players.

Ok for additional clarity, they still came with the core game on release and can still be acquired.
