I was planning on using Karma for my culture gears, but now they go for gold instead so what should I use my Karma on. I already have many sets of exotic gear and weapons so don’t need to spend it there(Don’t care for the look of the exotic karma gear anyway). Got all the recipes as i went through the maps completing events and hearts so have no need there. Got tons of of the mats as well so no need to buy them they don’t cost much to begin with anyway. Only like one legendary weapon and its for my 5th character so won’t be going for that anytime soon. So now that the only thing that was worth spending karma on(Cultural gear) is gone what do we do with all this left over karma?

Wait and see. Anet seems to have a very strong dislike of things being “worthless” whether that’s content, materials, currency, or anything. Legendaries really does seem to be the primary use of Karma but you listed all of the alternate uses I’m aware of already.

Also keep in mind that Karma was used to buy Halloween recipes so if that is similar in future events you’ve got that too.

I’m kind of in the same boat as you though. I have lots of karma but I don’t really like any of the legendaries at the moment especially not for the investment required (I prefer other skins) so I’m not trying to get one.

Culture weapons are bought with Karma. Legendaries utilize massive amounts of Karma. Crafting recipes on your craft master trainer. Chef materials. Tons of useless junk.

But mostly for legendary item supplies.

I thnk we need some “sub race” armor sets to buy with karma. Quaggan armor! Skritt armor! Centaur Armor! Something with exotic to ascended stats that’s a nice alternative to crafted or dungeon stuff.

Obsidian shards, skins and cooking materials. Since balth is bugged and will be fixed “Soon” (Read: sometime between “Now” and “The End Of Time”) karma is useless.

Well, karma can get some really big numbers. So if your thing is big numbers, it’s kinda fun I guess.

Costumery, whether it’s cultural weapons or things you pick up on karma vendors.

Just let it pile up, cuz it doesn’t use up any inventory space.
