I was farming the hologram projectors in the Charr starting area and found a…thing. Is it from a previous build or something? This large structure appears in this place far away, and if I get closer to it it disappears. What the heck? Pictures for reference.

Some kinda really horrible culling of a flame legion caster’s particle effects maybe?

Maybe that’s what it is, but there are no flame legion that roam that area.

It’s a flame legion base for a dynamic event. I have only ever seen it up a couple of times so I don’t think it spawns very often.

Last time I saw that DE was in beta. Come to think of it, that’s a bit weird. I’ve spent lots of time there.

It’s some stuff from dynamic event. It’s appearing on some region on the map.

Stuff like that happens. I’ve seen others, but the only one I could definitively point out is the disappearing boat in Cursed Shore.

Leave the shore off the piers to the northwest of Meddlers. You’ll see a ship off shore, but as you start to swim towards it, it will pop out of existence. I believe that spot is used in the personal story.
