This must be the most magical straw hat ever.

I don’t want to transmute a lesser skin over top an ascended piece! But this looks awful.

Cultural Armor or Bust on a Charr, pretty much our best route to good looks but ouch is it expensive.

Hey, even that Aurora helm I wore for the longest time was better. I mean, I felt like a goat with those horns, but at least I sort of looked fierce. Now I just look absurd.

Hats always look strange on Charr. Helms that cover the head are ok but hats that sit on top of the head always look foolish. Fortunately you can transmute it.

Yeah my Charr warrior has been wearing the same stuff for a year, nothing else fits as well. ( I consider myself lucky I didn’t roll a light or medium armor wearer )

I’m kind of vain like that, I admit. I want to wear ascended armor that looks ascended. It just happens the ascended look is terrible.

They should have designed a basic shape for charr hats, then redo other hats based on that.

Things like the Buccaneer’’kitten tricorne work well with the other races because they have mostly round heads and flat faces. But in a charr water won’t fall over their heads the same way, and so most hats designed for creatures with flat faces will look silly in a creature with a long snout.

It doesn’t help that many hats look tiny over charr heads. They look like those tiny hats gothic lolita wear, which looks ridiculous in charr.

It makes you wonder why do they even bother putting those over their heads in the first place since, like the goggles, they do nothing.

ANet doesn’t make much effort to make the charr helmets look good. Some are pretty decent, but most tend to get converted into a bowler’s cap.

Notice how well fitting is is and how the hood is purrfect on her.

Just because a Charr is a giant cat is no reason to think that clothing looks funny on them.

Most medium armor looks decent on charr. I use the medium aetherblade coat on mine.

For more hilarity, check out the tophat in the gem store on an asura. Why is it so tiny? Nobody knows.

You can tell from the high quality textures that it’s a gemstore set. I’m not sure which one, though.

This is true.

There are a few masks that look ok, but the cultural armor is less laughable.
