So it was 4 months from closing CDI for ranger at least. So when are changes coming (fractals,rangers…) or at least some news about whats going on like new blog which would include whats coming till 2015 ? Because there was promise about legendary gear, precursor craft/hunts and nothing of this happened.

We want some information when are this changes/things coming or what is happening with them (and please not just: we are working on them),we don not need exact date but at least some base window.

You answered your own question. Anet devs were ambitious and took on more projects than they could complete, and a year later people still complain about it. It is likely that future announcements about upcoming content will be when that content is very close to going live.

The huge update in April followed by launching in China and radical changes to LS season 2 means that the devs have not had the resources to do more than block out plans for the rest of the year, so I wouldn’t expect to see any big changes before October and don’t expect to hear much about it until a few weeks before the updates go live.

Releasing any info before they are absolutely sure about the time table is a proven bad idea. It’s a proven bad idea in all mmo’s. It’s not gonna happen.

They are probably going to raise the level cap or introduce another tier and are practising with their PR team on their excuses.

They have done 2 ready-ups covering their plans for engineer, ranger, thieves, and warriors. So that’s…something.

I think what tolunart said about Anet over-reaching is correct. There was a huge community outcry for more dev/player interaction and so Anet responded with these brilliant CDIs where we could bounce around ideas and have some Anet response. They exploded and I don’t think Anet was ready for it. Not to mention that such micro-balancing for so many aspects of the game would take a developer quite a bit of time to properly code, test, and launch. Here’s hoping that the recent absence of devs on the forums means that they’re busy coding the things we discussed.

Keep in mind, over the course of 2014 we were supposed to see more weapon variety for professions, newer Legendaries (and not updates to the current ones), Precursor Scavenger Hunt, more Fractals, more Ascended variety, more usage for Agony slots, more clothing choices, and the wrap up of LS1.

So far we’ve had: Fractals, Ascended variety, usage for Agony slots (sort of…), clothing choices (again, sort of…), and the wrap up of LS1.

The ones we have yet to see and will not see by the end of the year, most likely, are:
Weapon Variety, Legendaries, and Precursors.
