The Brewfest outside of Orgrimmar.
None, zip, nothing..
This 8 bit crap sucks…
Lost shores??? lol did you try that one out
Rinse and repeat with the rest of them..
Halloween, other than the mad king’s tower it had something for everyone. Jumping and platforming in general isn’t something I enjoy, so this event will be skipped by me.
As far as GW2 is concerned, Lost Shores (specifically the Ancient Karka event). Because it’s the only one up on that list which is a “one time event”.
The ancient karka event was so epic, I loved it, though I do feel for those that had horrible experiences during it.
Only took part in the Wintersday and this Super Adventure Box events and I personally prefer the Wintersday more. The mini games were so much fun and addictive.
Lost Shores, hands down. Nothing like standing back and watch the entire zerg get steamrolled by 3 invisible Karkas while hearing people over VoIP talking about stuff that happened 1 minute ago.
Good times, good times
Mine so far was halloweon, Mad Kings dungeon, labyrinth and the clocktower…oh and those awful jokes…
This 8 bit fiasco in the making is my favorite so far, followed by the Halloween event. The Karka event could have been great, but PvE culling killed it.
Lost Shores, even though the large scale fight was horribly laggy… it had the best loot by far.

I think this is the biggest issue with traditional MMO players. They measure fun by reward, instead of fun for actually doing.

Super Adventure Box may be the best event in a MMO I have ever played. I love it

Why dont the SAB fanboys understand everyone’s idea of fun is not the same? Intrinsically I find it more fun to play Zelda 64 currently than SAB.

Then go play Zelda.
Why do people act like every addition to the game must please everybody? It never will. I think SAB is funny. Will I spend hours in there for the skins? No. Hell no. Its a great April fools day event. And, it is NOT the April patch. So I don’t understand all the whining about it.
I have enjoyed them all. Really it’s hard to pick. Highlights include the epic karka battle, the clocktower, the wintersday bell game, and of course the super adventure box.

In fact I am not the one complaining about SAB and yes I played a bit of Zelda BECAUSE of SAB. But I am sure that this effect was not intended by the devs at all. They can put in a Ford truck for all I care (as mentioned by another poster); I have that high a tolerance level for immersion breaking stuff even on April’s Fool day. In fact no issue with GW2 Ivan ‘Ironman’ Stewart’s Super Off Road.
Funny? Hell no.
Lost Shores
The most rewarding end chest the game has ever seen, and may ever see again. SAB is really boss in its own right, but the Lost Shores rewards did wonderful things to the market in my opinion. No matter how you slice it, it’s fun getting an exotic drop, and outside of Lost Shores there just isn’t much of it.
My favorite one-time event was the launch of Guild Wars 2. It was great to be able to finally play this ‘most anticipated game’ as it was intended.
Haven’t cared much for the others, although, the concept behind Lost Shores was very exciting; too bad it was too lagged out to enjoy (new map, new monsters with their own new skills and animations, and a great reward for all participants).
If i had to choose one it would be either Lost shores/SAB but in reality my choice is none.
None because i hate one time events they can be fun but when the game at hand still needs a lot of work i don’t like that they waste their resources on events we will only be able to experience for a period of time. WvW is stale, Spvp is dead, I still get gamebreaking bugs(got one today were my map went black when i died had to re log twice), We aren’t going back into the PvE content like they wanted us to, Crafting still feels lackluster at higher levels, Precurser RNG is still bad, Legendaries don’t feel legendary, Karma feels worthless, the new Wxp ranks are a huge grind and aren’t account bound, Ascended gear isn’t fully released yet(no armor or weapons), Static Events are just looping quest chains. Their is more but you get my point their is a ton to work on besides one time events that we didn’t come to the game for in the first place. I enjoy the new event but when it’s gone a lot of people will just leave again because their is no content that they actually enjoy around the world.

For me Super Adventure Box wins hands down, no contenders personally..I played every event till now..

You do realize that comment fits with standard dungeons, FoTM, WvW etc are all terrible to me, but i don’t begrudge others playing them as long as i’m not forced too, you do not need to ever enter SAB, so why get angry when others want too..
Now that Flame & Frost has kicked off it is getting my interest from a lore perspective. I also liked the Lost Shores, but it needed more story and more attention post-event (which it looks like it will get with Flame and Frost’s refugees). My primary interest is experiencing a story and adventure, so these events interest me the most. From a fun perspective, Halloween was my favorite.
