Every day I see threads about having Tengu as a playable race. What is the obsession? I never really felt that Tengu are that great, in gw2 we see so little of them, and in gw1 they just meh to me..

They were initially intended as a playable race. There are even hints in the game until today. The starter map ‘Dominion of Winds’ is even on the map all around where the huge wall is (i.e. East of Caledon Forest, South of Kessex Hills, West of Lion’s Arch).

I check the 1st 5 pages and see only 1 thread about Tengu, and that one is actually about any potential payable race.

So what’s your problem?

So I guess now you can understand how/why people make duplicate topics, when writing on one of the pre-existing threads would’ve been sufficient.

Because the Tengu are literally just standing there in the game world and haven’t done anything since release. If they won’t do anything, let me control one! I’ll do all kinds of stuff with them.

Alright cool. When/If Tengu becomes a playable race then you don’t have to play as one if you feel they are not great.

i massacred them back in gw1, i have forgotten how they taste by now

I understand people saying I don’t have to play this race and such, but I’m not against the idea I’m curious I like Zantmar’s idea, bring em back so we can kill em
