What music do you listen to when playing GW2?
The ingame music of course.
But if I’m PvPing I may listen to Disturbed, Device or Breaking Benjamin.

Ro soundtrack, sounds good in almost every game
Easy.
Two Steps from Hell, Epic Score, Cliff Lin, and Danny kittene (EDIT: lol.) There’s an entire genre specializing in Epic and High-Fantasy genres. Today is a great era to witness, if you know where to get your fix.
They’re pretty much the only thing that keep me playing, honestly. All great additions to compliment… or create, rather… GW2’s atmosphere.
“Reggie Wilson plays the lift music classics”,
“Sounds of the supermarket – twenty shopping greats”,
“Pop goes Delius” and “Funking up Wagner”.
Ingame default music. Its to beatiful!
In game music, as I do in any MMO. I need to hear the game sounds. Down the hall in my bedroom I do have WETA playing classical, though.
Usually Metallica and Rage Against the Machine.
Beside the ingame music, i listen to Nature Music
-As the saying goes, “Peace is bound to the soul”-
(edited by Burnfall.9573)
Mostly to the ingame soundtrack, but if I don’t have to concentrate I listen to Trivium, Rammstein, various titles from other metal bands and Soundtracks of movies or games I like, for example Lord of the Rings or Mirrors Edge.
Mostly the ingame music, but I have a large variety of music at my disposal if I ever opted to listen to something else. What would be entirely dependent on my mood at the time… could be anything from classical (Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A Major for example) to “rock” (used loosely considering there are all sorts of ‘rock’ categories). I could be listening to Lady Gaga Applause one minute, and want to listen to FFDP Lift Me Up the next. shrug I’m just odd…
Casual, in game music for PvE.
Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest and AC/DC for roaming/zerging.
I listen to whatever im playing at the moment.

The in-game music. It’s the same music as was in GW1 and I like to reminisce.
Nothing beats Two Steps From Hell when roaming Tyria. Some anime series also have awesome tunes, such as Fairy Tail. Fits WvW perfectly, haha.
I listen to www.sifhalla.com
great tunes and great DJs
Easy.

Same here, Two steps from hell, Brand X Music, Audiomachine, Liquid Cinema, etc. plus some wonderful ingame tracks, also Hans Zimmer, and maybe I should add John Williams and Danny Elfman too.
Nerfentalist of Augury Rock
80’s Pop…….Seriously though i just listen to the in game music
In game music when I feel like being immersed in the game. When I’m just doing dailies or whatever then stuff like this.
I’ve created playlists to interact with the game so my music changes depending on what I’m doing or where I’m at in the game. The playlists pull from many video game (Elder Scrolls, GW1, Final Fantasy, Aion, Fable, EVE, etc) and movie (LotR) soundtracks with a few extras thrown in that I like. To do this, create a playlist using Windows Media Player and save it to your userprofile\My Documents\Guild Wars 2\music\ folder. The playlists have to be named specifically in order for GW2 to recognize them and load them:
battle
bossbattle
ambient
underwater
nighttime
city
There’s one for the opening title screen but I forget what it’s called. There’s also one for crafting but I think that one’s bugged since my crafting list has never played. I’ll doublecheck playlist titles and update my list when I get home tonight.
Edit: The opening title screen playlist name is: MainMenu

A lot of stuff like this:

—Fort Aspenwood—
Personally just in game music.. but I’m tempted to change the boss battle song for this one, just for a few laughs:
wrapped up in some crazy ritualist hoo-ha from Cantha.
A real grab bag of ‘you can’t hurt me. They’re called Guardians.
LOL thats AWESOME
I listen to… strange things. Lately I’m listening to nightcore, touhou remixes, and a few miscellaneous rock albums from bands I’ve never heard of before.
Gonna break the trend, I tend to listen to this kind of stuff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBdTVmSVq14
“Sargasso Sea” by Salt Tank, or a looping playlist of the music from Phantasy Star Online.
Two Steps from Hell… Nuff said

While actually playing I keep game sound/music on, but while gathering I turn game sounds off and then love me some atmospheric black metal.

This game has sound?
I like some music from other video games, such as the game “Journey”, some of the diablo and halo music, gears of war 2, etc….. You know what really fits great though is the soundtrack from the movie “Life of Pi”. I haven’t even seen that movie but the soundtrack is great for GW2.
True Scottish Pirate Metal → Alestorm
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Kenny G.
With some Hanson thrown in when I’m feelin’ really wild.
I troll because I care
Pearl Jam, cause I’m a Vedder Man
