What pure signet profession makes you cringe?
umm Warrior. I have seen a warrior running full signets die 67 time on Honor of the Waves STORY MODE. Story Mode. let that sink in for a minute. Mind you, he never activated his signets a single time… and blamed the rest of us for not supporting him. -_-

Restore that which was lost. And all shall be as one.”
Pure signet Guardian, most signet have useless active on guardian, and also don’t benefit them, 10% damage reduction (not nearly as useful as it sound), 180 condition damage, remove 1 condition every 10 seconds.
At least warrior have useful signets, with goo active (most of them) and benefit the different warrior’s build
Warriors have best signets, have you ever seen a mesmers signets? Lmao

Yeah I don’t use signets on my Guardian (Except maybe the healing one but I don’t remember). My warrior runs all signent’s when I’m just running around open world, but if I’m doing something a little more demanding, I switch it up.

Signet warriors… especially in dungeons. Come on guys, would it kill ya to use a banner instead?
Never actually seen full signet anything else though except thief and they are justified.

I’d find it good, if anet would merge all Signet Skills with the other utility skills of a class.
That way would get all classes 8except engineer, there we would have to do something else ) space for 4 new utility skills and everyone would play their classes more actively with more active usage of skills, without having to lose the benefits of the signets, which are for certain builds basically essential as they passive skills are often too useful.
Example: Thief:
Shadow Step + Signet of Shadows = Shadow Runner
While not using this skill, you run 25% faster. When you activate it, you will shadow step to your chosen target. At the moment where you retreat, you will clean off yourself 3 conditions and blind all nearby foes at your location from where you retreated.
Ambush + Assassins Signet = Assassination
While not using the trap to the point, where a foe runs into your Trap, you gain Power. If a foe runs into your Assassination Trap, your attacks will deal for the next 5 seconds 15% more damage and you summon at the location an Assassin, which will assist you in combat for the next 20 seconds (that Assassin will get skill updated to work like the EotM Assassins)
Roll for Initiative + Signet of Agility = Quick Dodge Roll
While you use not this skill, you gain increased precision.
Once you activate it, you perform a quick dodge roll into any direction you want with the help of an arrow pointer added to the skill, which lets you regain back some initiative, cure CC effects and evade that way attacks.
Infiltrator’s Signet + Shadow Refuge = Infiltrator’s Stealth
While not actively using this skill, you will gain faster initiative back every 10 seconds and break stuns if you should suffer on one every 5 seconds.
When activating it, you will create a aoe stealth area, that heals you and allies and lets you gain regeneration for 4 seconds.
That way we wold have effectively merged those signeds into other 4 utility skilsl that could need that little buff to be more useful in overall. And we would as said have space for 4 new utility skills that the thief could need to become a more interestign class, that should get some better skills to be better in support, where this class as example is heavily lacking in, because other then venom share and shadow refuges group stealth, this class has nothing to offer for support, other then blindness maybe, but that could get improved as a support factor also, when you see what all the other classes get with the next feature pack for massive buffs compared to the thief >.>

Eles and guards, mainly. Full sig mesmers are quite rare but they occur. I don’t mind full signets guy that much because it’s easier to kick on sight. Or kill on sight, depending on the game mode.

Signets on warriors are generally better when left passive in PVE. Only one people ever really use is signet of rage. I’d rather run banners, but when our group has other warriors covering them I’ll run healing signet, might signet, the precision signet, and signet of rage all at once.
He was just a terrible player that didn’t know the dungeon. I also personally find the story mode harder than the explorable modes, but I guess that’s because I rarely do story.
I’d vote for a signet mesmer.

aye, ele signets are pretty bad.

Not in condi builds. You can make fairly potent condi ele builds with full signets. There’s also those weird aura sharing builds that do it too, but you barely ever see those.
I also run a full signet mesmer build in PvP. It can be effective in some scenarios, especially when the opponent doesn’t know what the F is going on, but it’s not a good build to be competitive with.
I haven’t tried a full signet ranger yet, but I think I might after the feature patch hits.
I can’t imagine full signets on thief working out that well, though it’s possible they could be ok on necros. Warrior can pull it off sometimes because they’re warriors.
