What's ANet's policy on hacked accounts?

As the title suggests, I was hacked… hard. Guy took and sold everything that wasn’t soulbound, salaged and sold whatever was, and destroyed what he couldn’t salvage. My account was later banner for gold selling AFTER I had reported it, then was banned for someone else having access :P. Got it back but I still have everything stolen. If someone else has had this happen to them or someone they know please let me know if ANet was able to help in any way or am I SOL? Also should I be deactivating things like the credit card associated with the account or was that kept safe?

They don’t restore items, chars etc. As for the credit card…depends on where the security breach happened. Hint: It wasn’t ANet’s fault. Do a full scan on your PC and abandon the e-mail account.

They don’t restore items, chars etc. As for the credit card…depends on where the security breach happened. Hint: It wasn’t ANet’s fault. Do a full scan on your PC and abandon the e-mail account.

Individual characters or items cannot be restored; the ART operates on the account as a whole.

And this is from an e-mail I received after a similar issue(except my account wasn’t actually compromised):
Also, please be aware that the Support Team is unable to restore any missing Characters or Items.(dated 22.12.2012)

Check this post, they are doing restorations for any account compromised after 12/1/2012
