I left for a couple months and I see the prices of Ectos have plummeted, which was to be expected given the farming going on.

What’s good in the market these days?

Citadel of flame path 1,lots of CoF p1.Also mid tier mats revolve around 50c-1s per piece so they could be pretty profitable too.

CoF path 1 is pretty much the only thing right now. Farming spots show up and then get nerfed.

Run CoF Path 1 over and over and over and over and over and over again.

cof p1 until you’re bored, then you run some cof p1, and go back to farm cof p1

Not that there aren’t others ways to make money, but CoF p1 is better then anything else to such a high degree that it feels like the only thing. A typical end game daily ritual is to semi afk world bosses, do the dailies that can’t be done in CoF, run CoF till bored, and maybe run little wvw if your into that sort of thing.

From your question though it sounds like your asking what things rather then what activities are profitable, and the answer is basically nothing. Anything of value has too low a drop rate to be farmed reliably, due to DR and now the increased time between DE’s in cursed shore. No open world farming means people go to dungeons, and people pick the easiest dungeon because they all are equally rewarding.

I know you are asking what’s good in the market, but honestly CoF1 is going to churn out way more gold than actually farming/selling things unless you have a large starting capital base.

Plus for some reason, it appears to be nerf proof.

IE: it’s uncanny b/c Anet usually tends to repeat themselves…. usually.

Or… you can play the game normally and sell things as they come, either on the TP or at a normal merchant if something isnt selling well.
Sure, it’s probably not going to drop gold from the sky like running CoF path 1 ad infinitum and ad nauseum, but I personally find it a lot more enjoyable. And my main warrior is usually sitting on about 50 gold, with another 20~25 or so between the rest of my alts.

Sometimes I think, how rich would I be if everyone in my world gave me 1g, 1g is nothing to most people, just a cof p1 run, but, I’d be so rich just by taking almost nothing from everyone

Haha thanks for the replies folks. It’s good to know how the market stands. I guess it’s good that noting is particularly high so I really don’t need to make much gold to buy things I need for my alts then!

Until time = reward, cof p1. Also if you have a large sum of gold, you can flip things on the market but thats difficult to get into. You really have to watch things carefully on the tp.
