I have a huge ton of karma that I never wasted on anything. I’m not interested on Legendary weapons right now and even then I still have far more karma than what they need. I’m looking to optimize all that karma I have.

What do you think is the best optimal way to invest it? I’ve though about getting many lvl 80 yellows with karma and throw them to the forge and see what happens but that’s probably silly. Any idea on how to get the most gold/expensive things out of karma?

If you like minipets you can waste it all on Orrian Jewelry boxes. There’s a risen priest of dwayna mini you can only get from there. You’re not, however, likely to get a whole lot more of value.

I use karma to outfit alts in exotic armor.

I know some people are buying the Orrian jewelery boxes as they drop lodestones. The research done thus far on the drop rates can be found here:

Whether its the best way to transfer karma to gold, I don’t know. But it looks alright. I know alot of players were karma farming plinx a while back, buying exotic karma armor from Orr and throwing it into the forge to see if they could get stuff that could be sold for a decent price. Although your looking at ~200k karma a pop. Lodestone drop chance seems to be about 1-2% total and you get some karma back. Haven’t done the math on it yet, something I will be doing in the future as I have a few million unspent karma myself.

My problem with the Jewelry Boxes is that the Risen Priest mini is account bound (you can’t sell it for money) and you can’t even throw it to the forge.

Aditionlly instead of the 5 priest models (I love Lyssa and Grenth priests models) you get only one of them so once the first one falls any following one is simply wasted as there is nothing you can do with him, and I wouldn’t use him over my plushie Griffon anyway.

And I think the elemental potions can’t be sold either?

Idk I’m not convinced by those jewelry boxes, the lodestones are fine but I think the maths should prove alternate methods better than it considering lack of interest on the everlasting potions or the miniature.

They have updated the elemental potions and they are tradeable now, However you wont get more than a few silvers per potion. Also potions dropped before the patch are still not tradeable, just like the Halloween Endless Tonic.

I’ve consistently gotten over 1.5g in greys, and a heap of lodestones per 100k karma. I didn’t sell the lodestones but I think 2g per 100k is a pretty solid average.

Those 50 gold is from re-investment in the karma bottles you also get from the boxes. Its not from a single “run”, I repeated it untill I couldnt anymore. I spent alot more than 1.3kk karma total, but that was what I started with.

Those 50 gold is from re-investment in the karma bottles you also get from the boxes. Its not from a single “run”, I repeated it untill I couldnt anymore. I spent alot more than 1.3kk karma total, but that was what I started with.

Ah, I see. I wasn’t nearly that lucky and I spent a lot of karma too and reinvested the karma back into getting more boxes. I was going for the mini. Took me ages. But along the way I didn’t do all that well. Might just be bad RNG for me.

Can you salvage the rare cultural weapons for ectos? Or maybe put them in the mystic toilet to try for a precursor? I haven’t tried either, might be worth a try.

To transfer gold to gems for spending on the shop items obviously. Also infusions cost a boat load too.

While I don’t want Legendaries, there are things out there that are worth a lot too and are really cool (I’m eyeing the shortbow Aether, but I haven’t decided yet). Basically I want a way to have money available for whatever I want and to give a use to all that load of karma.

I agree that there is a possibility all that karma may get a better use in the future, I just wanted to know if currently there was a really good karma to gold or to interesting stuff that I was’t aware of but I guess for now I will just wait a bit more.
