Well, I’m level 20 now, just now returning after being without a decent PC. I’m eager to try to get leveled-up as quickly as possible. Any suggestions?

Dungeons, explore everything, harvest everything, kill everything, do heart quests. You can level with crafting if you have tons of gold to spare.

Well, I’ve heard a few people recommend just farming the new event boss-spawns over and over again. How quick would that be, versus anything else?

Buy gold from gemshop and then use the money to craft your way to level 80.

Completely wrong answer.

That is a way to level. That is not the fastest way to level.

The fastest way is to buy from the gemshop and turn it into gold then craft your way to level 80.

Crafting is the fastest way to level but if you don’t have the funds or the mats then you are stuck doing it the hard way. Completely exploring maps is alright cause you get a decent amount of XP and some mats for completing each map. The WvW XP/Karma train is one of the best ways I have found if your server is doing well (I leveled a toon to 80 by flipping camps and towers).

Be careful what you wish for, Anet might just give it to you “HoT”

Runeblade stated it right…

Your best bet is to spend $30 and get about 2400 Gems… Trade those in and get the gold for it, then immediately go to the website -

http://www.gw2crafts.net/

Then from there you want to choose the cheapest professions to max from a Normal or Traditional Guide…

Max out 6 different professions, as each profession maxxed out provides 10 levels. You can max out 2 different professions, and then start replacing the professions, which will allow you to max as many professions as is needed. Also, if you decide to go back to a profession later on, it will cost 40s each time you move into a profession that you’ve maxxed out already.

There are no rules against leveling up in this manner, and is by far the fastest and easiest way to level up.

Now… That being said, if you want a way to level up that doesn’t require you to run around doing events or paying real life money to craft, but is still pretty fast… I’d recommend a combination of exploration and storyline missions… The faster you complete “World Exploration”, the faster you will be able to craft your legendary weapons. As it is one of the things that is required for ANYONE to complete to get a legendary, past straight purchasing an already crafted legendary.

With exploration, if you start at level 20, and complete the full world exploration (Which will also require you enter WvWvW), you will likely be around level 60-65… Off of the experience alone from all the points, is guaranteed 35 levels, but the amount of time that will need to be invested in completing the WvW side will likely gain you a few levels as well. That’s also not including any monsters you kill, or events you complete, along the way throughout the exploration, which will also in turn gain you a few levels.

Once you get to level 65, if you have only completed the storyline missions up until level 20-24, then the remaining missions will be more than enough to get you to level 80.

Crafting. Always crafting.

At the moment, you can level ridiculously quickly in the Crown Pavilion content. Other than that, I find exploring to be the quickest, personally.

Also if you are going to craft level and need the mats buy as many as you can with lower cost buy orders. Most of the orders fill pretty fast if you bid a copper or two above the next highest bid. This will save you a lot of coin over buying them outright. You will need plenty of bag space for all the stuff you make. You will also want to do it in LA where the crafting stations and TP are close. That way when bags fill up you can run to the TP real fast and sell the items you made that you don’t want. Or if you are lazy like me just sell them to the craft trainer right beside you.

Obviously the fastest way to level is crafting with gold.

If you have a level80 you can farm gold and level alt.

If you don’t have a level80 you can buy gem with real money sell that for gold and level up.

If you are too poor to spend real money, I suggest farm the mobs in the crown pavillion in the human starting city. I just test it and get 2 level per hour. On top of that you can make decent money. And the money can help you level faster too through crafting. Which is much better than just doing map completion and personal story which only give roughly 1 level per hour.
