I’ve never met anyone who appreciates this feature so why is it still around? The addition of megaservers has only compounded the problem too. At least before the feature patch you could just guest so it was a minor inconvenience to open a dungeon. Now however a typical tour of COE involves doing that 15-minute event chain once or twice in between starting the different paths (which themselves take only 10-20 minutes to complete).

The chain up to the entrance is part of the story.

That said they would do well to shorten some of the timers.

It’s the “someone else will do it” mentality. Who cares. If the dungeon goes contested, just do the event again.

We usually do other dungeons while waiting CoE or CoF to be uncontested again.

The point is to entice players to complete the events, rather than ignoring them.

It’s not so bad anymore. Not a huge fan of megaserver, but it’s nice that CoF is almost always open for me now xD. On my server it was previously NEVER open. Like, ever.
