Anybody know what’s going on with all the Hylek in Divinity’s Reach home instance?

When you do the Personal Story and join an Order, you get to pick one of three sub races to investigate. Once you’ve done that and gotten that sub race to sign on with the Pact, they show up in your home instance. You can get fountain quaggans, lawn hyleks, or alley skritt in the Salma District.

Humans who join the circus get some street performers as well.

Since the recent Crown Pavilion events when I got the gathering nodes in the home instances I have been gathering there for dailies. I had been using my warrior but only recently switched to using my ele. My warrior and mesmer chose to help the quaggans but my ele chose the hylek. I didn’t really pay much attention to the fountain so didn’t notice the quaggan. My mesmer was in the circus; I’ll have to look out for circus performers in the future.

I’m in the process of doing my PS on all my characters (10) so will pick skritt for one of them, maybe one of my asura.

Saw them too, but would love it to see, if anet would change their locations, so that the NPCs of your supported races get more spread out evenl,y instead of being cluttered up all at one position together and doing nothing than standing around only on that place… comes over just so half heartedly implemented and unpersonal.

The intention is good to make the personal instance show its player more the results and consequences of his8her decisions over the personal and living story ect.
But ANet definetely has zo learn how to make better decisions about how and especially WHERE these individual elements of the personal instances get implemented.

Thats why I found it really awesome, that ANet actually heard on the complains about the latest gemstore plant nodres and changed their positions in the personal instances to a spot, where they make as plants also sense (wish they would have done that also with all other stuff, except for the tree which are the only nodes, that started directly with good trustworthy spots)

However, the personal instances should get redesigned once we should ever come so far that we get player housing, then all those elements should become individually placeable by the player and the player should be able to decide, where exactly those nodes and other stuff should be in their house.

The individual race npcs should do also something, other than just standing around in permanent idle position.
The should move around, have somethign to say, some could be interesting vendors maybe and so on, but just doing nothign and standign around all the time only is just plain boring …

We don’t get Skritt as one of our options.

oh is that why frogs are in hoelbrak.. i thought it might have something to do with lore that got scrapped.. no skritt for norn apparently, and grawl would have seemed out of place.. some skritt wandering the great hall looking for ale would have been funny.. awhwel, when pendant of arah drops to about 100g my home instance will be good..
whispers guy is there, i’d really like to quit my order, or join new ones.. i only picked that one because the quests made sense at the time.. this game loses its edge after awhile
