So I hit level 80, the first time I’ve it a level cap simply because I like the gameplay. I hear a lot of people crying about end game, but why?

As an level 80 I split my time between running dungeons to get better gear, pvp and finishing up the on the 100% map completion.

Just out of curiosity isn’t end game wow simply raid after raid after raid to get that one new weapon, whereas Guild wars give you tokens so you can get that particular item without wasting your time.

I’d like to know that i’d have to invest 3 hours i a game to get what I want, whereas WoW you can potently do the same stuff forever and not get you Sword of Penetrating from behind Mark T-bag.

The thread will be locked if anyone explains their experience to you .So revisit your post in a week or so and see if your views are still the same .
You can see for yourself the greyed out posts but lots get removed entirely ,so stay positive or else lol.

People will always complain that Game X is missing certain features available in Game Y. GW2 has stuff to do at 80; it’s just not the same stuff as some other games out there, and some people don’t like that. I wouldn’t concern myself with what others want, as long as you are having fun doing what YOU want:)

@Gilandred: The problem is that its not different than other MMO’s. You know there is a problem with the endgame where the only thing level 80 players can do is “explore” and complete 100% of the map. Its a cop-out. You can do that in every MMO out there. Combined with the fact that there is very little challenging content in the game, makes people get bored at 80 quickly as there is nothing to work toward, no “ultimate” challenge. Most players knew that there will be no raids in GW2, but a lot of us expected ArenaNet to have something else for level 80 players to do instead.
