Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone!

I’ve recently got back into the game after a long break and was wondering about creating a new class to play. Right now I’ve been bouncing around Warrior, Guardian, and Thief. But I also wanted to take the time and find out about the classes you play and why you play them!

For me right now I personally really enjoy the Guardian. It was the first character I created and the one I will continue to always play. I attached a screenshot of her.

I playing Guardian because I love being able to support my party while also being able to smite my foes with the holy flames of justice :p

Ralzzo, my necromancer, is my main. The simple reason is not only that he’s my most popular and most personally beloved roleplay character and design, but also the fact that necromancer has always been the smoothest class to roll through PvE content in the shortest amount of time possible. I have always loved necromancer as a player concept, so it really was a no brainer when the concept itself became a popular PvE/Personal story choice.

However, for dungeons and PvP, my mesmer is the go-to choice above all. It is fun, hectic, requires a moderate amount of skill for a good output and it really doesn’t get any classier than the concept of mesmerism itself.

Guardian here, too. I feel that this profession has a solid place in the game, plus I really like the theme of this profession and it’s utility skills.

My main class is an Elementalist, especially since I achieved my champion magus title- I have 2 eles but I’ll post the on I’m currently on atm.

My main is an elementalist because when I started playing this game I had been playing a warrior for 5 years in WoW and it got boring swinging a hammer.
I needed some new animations, and then after seeing the Yogscast’s elementalist spotlight video I was sold.

I also have a level 80 thief and warrior, and I want a new profession but I can’t decide on the race.

Ranger, because I love archery, long distance shooting, scouting, etc.

Thief at the moment. I love the spammable interrupts and the teleporting.

Ranger. I love the pets (all my characters in GW1 have pets) and in GW2 I simply love the axe. And with a ranger, you never play alone

I main a thief now. Shadow Refuge…that utility alone just makes getting various skill points and vistas so much easier and I can escape if things don’t go quite my way. It’s also a great tool for making dungeons run smoother too.

Honestly though, it’s my main mostly because I am making Dreamer and I didn’t want to go through the effort of getting it on a ranger. I love that stupid, silly bow and I will have it!
