Guild Wars 2

Hi there, I ask this because I’ve been waiting since monday to purchase my obsidian shards, and from what I understood there was supposed to be a patch today, yet I am here at midnight(seattle time) which is the usual time arenanet patches and there is no patch available for download as of yet.

Needs to know and wants a respond too asap.

I’m not sure there even really is one. As far as I knew, the next patch is on October 1st.

Yeah I saw the link, but that was from 13 days ago. it’s possible he was mistaken on the date or that the plan has changed, as I haven’t heard any mention of a 9/27 patch anywhere else since then.

Yeah, I’m thinking he just got the dates wrong, or the plan changed to Monday patches instead of Thursday.

That does make sense, but a heads up would have been nice.
As this topic shows, some people have been holding off on the personal mission, waiting for the patch to arrive, meanwhile no word has been given on what’s going on behind the scenes.

I definitely think ANet should be more in touch with people on what’s happening behind the scenes. Maybe they should hire someone with the specific task of translating information to the public, so incidents where misunderstandings could crop up can be dealt with before tensions rise.

There ll be a 10/1 patch not sure 9/27
