I just looted a Wupwup Chest from Teq and don’t know what to do with it.
The weapons I can get from it have +44 onto everything for onehanded weapons and +89 onto everything for twohanded weapons.
Sadly they are all account bound on aquire as is the chest.

I’m sceptical if they’re useful to me. I’m a necromancer and switch mostly between support build with a little bit healing (cleric weapons) or vampiric power build (soldier armor, rest zerk).

What would you do with that chest? Flush it down the mystic toilett when I get other ascended weapon drops that I don’t find useful (if that’s even possible)?

You can’t forge ascended weapons, maybe save it for another toon?

Underwater weapon.
Get a skin and sell the item for 1 gold.
Safe it for a different character.

Not much else you can do.

Use it for skins.

To answer the OP question though, I’d say save it for an alt, or, if you have literally no interest in ever make an alt that might use the weapon, you can always Salvage it. (At least, I’m pretty sure you can salvage Ascendeds…)

To answer the OP question though, I’d say save it for an alt, or, if you have literally no interest in ever make an alt that might use the weapon, you can always Salvage it. (At least, I’m pretty sure you can salvage Ascendeds…)

You can sell the item to a merchant for 1 gold.
(Only applies to ascended weapons, ascended armor is worth 2 silver 40 copper for whatever reason)

You can not salvage them.

I agree: the best use is to unlock a skin you aren’t likely to craft. The underwater weapons are usually at the bottom of everyone’s to-do lists.

I would preview all the wupwup skins and just choose one for the skin. I recently crafted a wupwup shield solely for the skin. So there you go~

I’m actually using a Wupwup Longbow.

. . . it was better than what I had and I’m not too picky about stat arrangements.

Some classes such as Elemenetalist benefit greatly from Wupwup/Celestial.

Vendoring it for 1G would be the most incredibly wasteful thing ever. Makes me cringe just thinking about it… There’s easier ways to earn just 1 gold. This is not a good use for an Ascended, IMO.
