Ok since that vendor is now gone (the one that turn your flawless snowflake and karma into present), what’s the point on having them now other than selling or crafting them?

Before the last winterday, I used to mystic forge t2-t4 snowflakes to get presents cos the present gave me that snowflake gathering tools (I see it as a nice alternative to the ones you buy from the merchant despite the 1/3 chance of getting the tool you want) and I’m one of the many people who haven’t got the Dwayna backpiece recipe from it yet (can you still get it?) so it was worth my time forging and openning them (I ain’t no gold farmer before you suggest on just buying it on black lion)

Right now I’m mounting them up again and I rather have an alternatice used for them other than just selling and crafting. They could have at least bring back that vendor elsewhere in LA (eventhought it would means I have to farm enough karma to buy the present) or the home maps or maybe add that snowflake and karma for present to the festice merchant.

Heck I would loved it if they were to revert it back to the 2015 version (being useable in the mystic forge)!

Personally, I think it would be awesome to have the vendor as a Skritt walking around town with a wheelbarrow shouting “Bring out yer shinies!”

I LOVE the Skritt NPC vendor idea!
(Just don’t make it that poor, stuttering skritt from the Golden City, Tarir. I think he already has “Shinies Overload”.)

We actually had those Zephyrites to trade in your useless stuff for shinies once a year but some storyteller crashed them in the jungle.

Snowflakes should have a “consume all” option now, which converts them to a higher type.

Question is, what to do with all those top-tier snowflakes? My storage is full of ’em. >.>

I’m not dealing with a Skritt. He’ll probably charge me for taking the stuff away. And the stuff stuff stuff.

I wish they kept the decoration option in the guild hall available. It’s a lot of work to merely put these advanced decorations together. I totally would have bought more pumpkins or snowpiles, even if it isn’t halloween anymore. It would keep the price of said “worthless” but not really worthless items at a nice level.

As for a skritt “trash item” collecting stuff. It seems a good idea, but if there’s achievements tied to it I think it would miss the point. It would turn into “trash your items for achievements points.” which means everyone wants to thrown away their items at it.

I’d enjoy a cute skritt munching a bunch of snow in a container that players add to. It then goes “Ahhh! Braiiiin Freeeeezzze…phew, all better.” every 5-10ish seconds, ad infinitum.

hey if the skrit works with a scrapper to do a recycle project. That gives a universal token that can be used at old skin vendors such as scarlet or a vendor that offers items that have a weird or non existent way of getting a tokens for Perhaps taking in old non-used boosters, old currency, scrolls or books that exceed useful purposes, or other items such as holiday event items, snow flakes, corn, mini pets that are bound to account/character that you have a lot of already. Maybe have the junk yard vendor offer some different items everyday like the pact supply line does. Just a thought

omg omg > This, not just old currencies. But current currencies that have one use and are then useless: Essences of Luck once max Magic Find has been reached. I’m not saying it is a horrible or wide spread issue, but it will continue to grow.

We had a viable use for snowflakes and it’s been removed.
Dispite all the “Oh, Oh’s” here, this stuff is still filling a lot of players tiny storage.

How about creating a use for the stuff we were rewarded.
It’s the opposite of a reward right now.

Given what happened with snowflakes last year I immediately put my snowflakes on the auction house as soon as the Wintersday event was over.
