So i got my ascended amulet and now i have a simple question: What is the most profitable way of using laurels? Since i got an utility infusion i can save for those or the t6 or dyes or… :/

What i figured is that 1 laurel is equal to at least 25,6s due to the elonian wine substitution. So how can i get more than that? I thought of t6 mats since it appears that they keep rising in price but on the other handside getting +20% more gold from monsters (thinking of dungeons sounds quite good too.

As for now: use —> estimated profit (at least)
T6 mats --> 35s
Mystic binding agent (or w/e it’s called) —> 25,6s
Unid dye --> 18s
Class gear —> (30+30)/5 ~ 12s (can be quite more though)
Utility infusion --> ?

So what are your thoughts on this?

I would recommend gilded infusion. Long term gold increase > short term gold gain.

After that, it depends on your wish to gamble.
- lodestone promotion is the sure way to create 27s
- heavy crafting bags are also a good way to create gold
- equipment boxes are a gamble
- green crafting tools are free compared to orichalcum picks.

If I can’t play Guild Wars 2 at work, I won’t work in Guild Wars 2 either.

Most usefully would be crafting materials, tools and armor pieces.
And then minis if you have enough with laurels ^^

Hmm. . .three gilded infusions and an omnomberry bar should equal +100% gold from monsters, right? Granted, that’s 90 laurels, 120 if you’re using a second amulet. Still, that’s 50 silver per CoF P1, not counting item drops or the final reward. . .

So, that should do interesting things to prices.

Various possibilities. For example there is the achievement that requires 200g in your bank. The cultural armor achievement requires a total of approximately 600g.

Going to have 30 Laurels once I do my Daily today, buying myself an Ascended Amulet. :)

Then, since I don’t care for Fractals, I’m going to get myself that +20% gold find infusion. I want the extra money. ^_^

After that I’ll either get another for my alt or save up for the Endless tonic.

“Bleeding, Poison, Confusion, Torment, they all look delightful on you.”

Lv80s: Guard, Thief, Necro. Renewed my Altaholic’s card on the HoT Hype-Train. Choo choo~
