So you’re saying that the April Fools joke is that we thought Anet would do fun thing in game, but jokes on us? That’s like a market saying you get free item with $50 purchase, but then free item is a travel size Snickers bar.

I think it might be a sign Anet has too few people to do what needs to be done. A new april fools joke that required implementing something new was not important enough to use the ever diminishing resources that they have.

I hope I’m wrong, but it sure looks that way

Certain pranks of previous years were not well received for some, so it seems they may just have given up doing special things in-game.

Or they’re working on something big. Though I will just assume the former for now.
