Guild Wars 2

The last time I was here was December 2013. I feel like my bad habits were getting the better of me, so I stopped playing. However, I keep on getting new email that there’s new events going on in Guild Wars 2, and it seems to haunt me.

I’ve been experiencing GW2 as a level 80 thief, and I seem to like the game so much. That makes me want to come back to this game. However I’ve been missing a lot of events, and my guild is angry at me for being away for so long, and thus it makes me nervous, seeming like it’s already too late. It’s a very tough decision to return to Guild Wars 2, so what do you guys recommend; should I return to GW2?

- 5 hours of content every 2 weeks that you’ll finish and never go back to
- Gem store sales

That said, you should come back, because you missed nothing you can’t read about and get caught up on.

I’m not understanding why it is a tough decision. It is a video game and is free for you to play. Jump and start playing again if you are excited – it’s still as good as it ever was.

You’ve missed some story, but you can catch up with season 2 so far with a small gem purchase and get back in easily enough.

Um….sure?

It’s not like you pay a subscription fee or there’s only one guild in all of Tyria.

5 hours? Closer to 2 unless you’re an Achievement Hunter or Skin Hunter. The actual episodes are very short.

In all games, it is all about the friends. GW2 is beautiful but if you adventure alone you will be lonely. If you find the right guild though, it comes alive and is something you look forward to logging into whenever you can.

GW2 is always the same and different. If you do come back I’d suggest you might want to look into getting a new guild. Or maybe they’re angry because they care about you. No that can’t be it, get a new one.
