Guild Wars 2

I want to see a kusarigama (a chained mini scythe) or shurikens.
I also would love to see (not a paragon spear user) but a lancer or dual spear wielders like in Vindictus.

Would love to hear other ideas XD

Two-handed axes, 1h hammers, shortswords, polearms, FLAIL yes please! It is really huge list of weapons they havent touched, my guess is they had to draw a line somewhere. Perhaps in future…

I want more curved swords. Something like the ebony blade in Skyrim.

I miss dancing around with a scythe.

Great scythes for warriors, etc. Two handed axe.

2H Axe is the most obvious. Lances and Scythes would be cool as well.

Kamas. Gloves/brass knuckles. Halberd.

I’d like to see more weapon skins.

Specifically, the some of the more popular ones from GW1:

1. Voltaic Spear
2. Bone-Dragon Staff
3. Storm bow
4. Draconic Scythe (if scythes are added)
5. Shiro’s Daggers (may be confused with dual swords in GW2, tho)
6. Icy Dragon Sword
7. Oppressor Weapons
8. Tormented Weapons
9. Zodiac Staff and weapons
10. Draconic Aegis (by FAR my favorite shield, in any game, period)

Just part of what is maddening sometimes with GW2…so much stuff can be copied and upscaled from GW1.

As far as NEW weapons go, I’d like to see scythes, poles, and a cestus. 2h Axe would be nice as well.

Scythe, Whip, 2H focus.

Of course Battleaxe is right up there. No doubt about that one.

As for others? I’d like to see:

-Javelins/Spears (like the ones for the Paragon in GW1)
-Scythes (of course like the Dervish in GW1)
-Bo Staffs (for melee use)
-Crossbows (even hand crossbows for dual wielding)
-Whips
-Hand Wraps (for unarmed melee combat)

As for types of existing ones, I would like to see:

-Rapiers (Need this for my Mesmer)
-Katanas
-Composite Bows
-Tower Shields
-Blunderbuss
-Lochaber Axe
-Halberds
-Partisans

And the list could go on.

That’s absurd. You can’t use your fighting pride as a weapon.

You can, however, wield something as a weapon….the courage in all of us.

I would like tomhawks in guild wars 2 as a weapon 100%

Lol people just said almost everything, but I’d like better staves and maybe Orbs? For both hands! lol!

I’m serious too, for Engineers of course and don’t forget that there ARE charzookas in game. :P

Apart from that I would like to see a fighting monk class added to the game so any weapons that you think they would use would be wanted too such as nun-chucks, (please no one mention Chuck Norris here thats been done to death already lol…) those 3 part fighting sticks etc.

I would like to see smaller, more realistically scaled weapons showing a bit more elegance, and a lot less gears, rotors,spikes, cupholders, neon lights, and HUGE factor.

Something like the NF Gladius skin and Factions Katana.

Great Axe!!! I was shocked when they didn’t have it in from the get go. Even the Norn artwork ads had them carrying great axes before release.

What I’d really like to know is, how they plan on introducing them. For example, will there be legendaries, if so, will they be obtained in the same way… also, will they be added to dungeons, etc.
