It is pretty obvious that some legendary weapons are way more awesome looking and obvious than others. I have no clue if ANet plans on upgrading the effects on some, but I had a few simple ideas myself, and was wondering if you guys did too!

The Dreamer (shortbow) – Rainbow footstep trails.
Meteorlogicus (scepter) – shoot star trail behind weapon.
The Flameseeker Prophecies (shield) – pages fall off when you walk/run.
Quip (pistol) – confetti trail when you walk/run
The Bifrost (staff) – Increase trail of light when swung. Have unique sound.

Aw man, the short bow has a freaking unicorn on it? The long bow has flowers? What’s with all the little kid/girly looking stuff on some of these weapons? I’m gonna be spilling (virtual) blood with these not spreading love and peace.

Can we have skin options that don’t take much after we craft a legendary that looks stupid?

Yea…i’m with Moirweyn on this one. My BAMF ranger rocking a rainbowy flowery unicorn bow? Meanwhile other people are rocking mean looking legendaries like Twilight, Bolt & The Juggernaut.

I would add the ability to turn off the ground animation of sunrise/twilight

Hehe, I would never get the unicorn bow for myself. My post was slightly sarcastic :p

However, it does appeal to some players. I have seen some pretty enthousiastic responses to the unicorn bow. I myself have a little “meh” respons to all current legendaries, including your favorites. The only one I am slightly interested in in Incinerator. But I am holding getting a legendary off until they (hopefully) introduce a skin I like better.

They should add a series of glowing weapons that you can change the color of depending on ingredient combinations. This way your legendary can be almost any color just like your armors.

I would remove the skill animation from Legendary weaps.
I asked in another thread if Bifrost still has that scythe animation from staff auto-attack on necro. It sadly does.
Black scythe on top of a rainbow. Ugh… It’s just… Just…

They should make them fully customizable. Shape, glow effect, glow color, effect on armor, swing effect, ground effect, extras, etc. For the ridiculous ammount of grind and gold involved, as of now, they look like trash. All of them. It would also make them more unique. ‘’Hi everyone with a twilight, guess what, this is the 924389th one I see today, Im not impressed.’’

OMG, Bifrost+that scythe animation is nightmare…

Bolt should be visually crackling with electricity while sitting idly. Apart from footsteps, you can’t even tell it’s a legendary until you go in to combat.

give them unique commands

i.e, Twilight can turn an area from day to night and Sunrise from night to day.

I would have quip make some balloons when out of combat. :P

If you swap to The Dreamer as a male toon you should do a voice clip telling everyone that they are not man enough to use The Dreamer.

Does anyone know if Anet is working to improve the ones that are already there but obviously fall well behind the Twilights of the world?

I’d make final rest a legendary (since it’s probably bugged anyway) Add green death shroud aura around it and animation on the pattern and have the gargoyle wings move, on top of that attack could turn specific attacks into a gargoyle flying towards its target leaving a trail on the ground (instead of grasping hand for necro) and it would leave a green death shroud trail on the ground as you walk with a possible a view into the underworld.

Of course this is with necro in mind.
