Lately when im doing these world bosses the sound tend to crash and then anywhere between 5s-3min after that my game crashes, which tend to be when the bosses are around >10% hp left so by the time i relog the boss is dead and there are no chest.

I’ve never had any problems before the update where they reduced the instance size (size before you got trown to an overflow).

It’s because so many people doing the event now. I get tremendous lag on my end doing these events. I’m pretty much only auto attack because of the lag.

Sounds bad :s I know about the sound crash, (I never have any sound during those events either) but usually what happens is immediately after the event, all the sound from the entire fight crashes through my speakers in the span of 3 seconds, then everything reverts back to normal.

The thing is i had no problem before when there was more people in the area as you pretty much never got into an overflow so logicaly i should have had more crashes then and not now asuming player was the fault.

but i do choose 10 sec auto attacks, 10-20 fps and chest over normal skill delay 30+fps and gamecrashes resulting in no chest :p

Engineers have suddenly become useful again. The way to play the dragon game now seem to be to stick a few turrets in the area and let them get on with it.

The game is crashing. The sky is falling!

But seriously, I’m also experiencing massive lag spikes and disconnects especially in these world bosses. It’s horrible. GW2 is totally unplayable for me right now.

Sorry to drag an old post back up, but I’ve been having this problem and it’s frustrating to put in all the work and not get any chest due to a crash at the end (and reconnect = overflow)

Yes: turn your graphics down. I’m on a 32bit system so I’ve been dealing with crashes every night since launch; the game is simply too much for my processor. All minimum settings + cranking my case fans to max is the only way I make it through consecutive world bosses or zerg time in WvW.

The game doesn’t look as a nice as it could, but that’s a small price to pay for actually getting to play it.

OP, is it the wooh, wooh, UFO sound? That happened to many of us a while back.

Quality to fastest, interval to medium, buffer sixe to stable.

Did this 6 months ago, and no problems since.
