Guild Wars 2

Today i was playing some WvW in Eternal Battlegrounds and to be honest our server isnt doing that great this week. The whole week our server is having a hard time to keep our own territory in EB due to the fact players are to busy to capture a fully defended and supplied Stonemist Castle. This afternoon a Commander logged into EB and started to lead people wich wasnt very succesful due to his tactics. His actions made us lose almost everything on our own territory and the enemy started to bang on our keep’s gate.

All of the sudden the Commander left EB and left us with the mess he created. So after a hard struggle we finally got our own territory back. Later this night the same Commander logged into EB so i warned people for what he did earlier today and this conversation followed on my whisper…

Ofcoarse i reported him but seriously whats wrong with people these days reacting like this just because i told the truth. Besides that this person is a Commander so he should give a good example towards the players…

Goodness I haven’t seen nerd rage like that in a long while.

Commanders are transferring from their home servers and leading the other server to a loss. Eradon Terrace have been doing this. As well as scrubs from that guild RUIN.

griefing – its gotten a tad out of hand. first wasting a server’s supply building siege in stupid locations, now this. people are bored apparently.

People are jerks, nuff said. Get used to it, this is the interwebs.

Its most likely his is from another server and transferred to lead players to there downfall, its been happening alot. Just causes someone is a commander and on your server does not mean they are working FOR your server.

He sounds like a spy, but his private messages makes him ever worst. I hope they ban him.

Yeah… they need to stop the free transfers.

I really think Arena Net should strip players of their Commander title if they’re caught abusing it or engaging in horrid behaviour. After all, their actions have a pretty negative impact upon the server as a whole.

No one is forced to follow anyone, but they do.

Which is proof that all the sheeple will lead the rest into oblivion.

Just because someone has a commander’s title doesn’t make them a commander it just tells you that they spent 100 gold getting it.

That in itself should be telling you quite a lot of things.

what spoofy said. the commander title is bought with gold…… if your unable to see a kittennozzle is at the helm, you might be able to see it now. Do not blindly follow anyone ftw. lot of seriously flawed concepts around the commander title and what it really means. AND OH YA, FREE TRANSFERS NEED TO STOP.

The problem is commanders right now have no qualifications other than 100 gold, which is very doable for hardcore players with skills for farming but no command or tactic ability whatsoever. If a large guild worked together to send someone off to sabotage another server, 100 gold is a joke.

The problem is not that people are exploiting. The problem is with the current commander system.

I’m sure he’ll enjoy his ban.

Look no further than the discussion on dungeon difficulty to see what happens, if you have players whose only gaming experience is being rewarded for every choice they make, no matter how dumb it is.

The commander title doesn’t mean anything, if people haven’t learned this yet I feel sorry for them.

I can’t wait until the majority of people have it so that my mini-map becomes almost useless

Dude he totally earned that commander title. He has the right to be above you in all aspects.
