Next month GW2 turns 1 year old. What would you like to see in the Anniversary update? Do you think players will be given birthday presents like in GW1? Share your thoughts.

I would personally love to see guild halls with a new GvG siege system in place. Where we defend our guild halls against another guild. Not limited to a party of 5 or 8, but all the guild members online can participate to defend their guild hall.

Hopefully Anet will stay true to the GW1 birthday presents of the mini pets… always loved collecting mini’s.

All I want for christmas GW2’s birthday is an in depth and useful pet system for my ranger.

I am personally hoping for account-based birthday-gifts instead of character based, what they give us don’t really matter ^^

Mini’s are always great of course but what i’d love most is more pve content, i.e more areas to explore and discover not just these little monthly event things. But I guess anything is better than nothing right!

Elimination of RNG, and better loot drops risk/time vs Reward. That is all i want. I don’t need kitten for gifts.

I didn’t even think about it. I don’t know what I’d want honestly. That will be cool if we get something, though!

They could surprise us and add the precursor scavenger hunt that we’ve been promised for almost a year now.

Haha no just kidding, I want a new type of chest loot with 0.00000001% chance to get an anniversery armour ticket.

The Asurans are finally able to construct portals into Underworld & Fizzure of Woe.
This will be the first actual elite area added into the game and finally some end game.

Can’t just be random Minis. Needs to be something more interesting now b/c they screwed over their own “Mini economy” by making them Cash Shop RNG drops in this game.

A special weapon and/or armor skin and a title

no minis, no trinkets. Nothing temporary. Has to be permanent

EDIT: I have to add this seems like a great time to ask this question. Many threads ask stuff like this a week before the event. Totally useless at that time IMO
