I’d like to see this happen. I want to switch characters and enjoy all the work I put into one item no matter who I play (assuming they can equip it). Legendaries are already getting buffed when ascended weapons come out, why not make them sharable across all characters?

As an alt-aholic, I would really hope that by the time I do slowly gather my way to crafting a legendary, that it could be shared across my each of my beloved characters.

For people who focus on one single character, it matters little as that’s the character their legendary will always be for. For those of us who enjoy seeing every aspect of the game via multiple characters, it’s hard to choose just the one to give that treasured item to. Please do eventually make them account bound! Think of the alts! :P

I don’t very much like the idea of them being even less restricted than they are now.

When you create a legendary it’s souldbound on use. So you CAN share/trade them, but once it’s equipped, it’s locked to that character. There are plans to change legendaries so they are ACCOUNT BOUND on use instead of SOULBOUND on use. That way you can use the weapons on multiple characters. Unfortunately there hasn’t been much information on WHEN this change will be implemented.
