I missed out on the wings in the gemstore earlier this year and I am wondering if and when they’ll be returning.

They came back once during the anniversary sale, so they def weren’t a one time thing.
However it’s hard to tell, a lot of stuff is considered “seasonal” like the executioner and with outfits only being available around halloween, not sure how they classify the wings.

There may be a fall/winter sale, and there’s usually a sale in January, so maybe during one of those? They’re also reintroducing stuff right now, so maaaaybe tiny chance for at least the black wings to come back, but given certain artwork showing other wings I’m going to guess not.

The black and white wings have been available over two times this year already! You even get some new kind of wings with halloween.

Anet should not reintroduce the same gemshop items hundrets of times each year! Best would be if anet would just state each gemshop item is only available one time a year and if you missed it, just wait a year until its rerelease. That would save so much forumspace.

Wow. That’s the most dumbest excuse i’ve ever heard. You see the same items in the Gem store pretty much all the time, they never change. That’s like 3/5 of the total amount of items in the gem store. They really need to change the items more often, once a week. Going through the rotation of items. Couse not EVERYONE can play 24/7 each day, even log in each day for a “CHANCE” of an item will poop up in the gem store that “MAYBE” sometime this YEAR will release. That’s just plain out stupid.

Sure i can understand that some items are suppose to be “special” but dont make an item unobtainble when there is nothing else of that sort ingame that you can replace it with.

You can also solve these topic by making an offical page or place where they announce the upcoming gem store items etc, puting topics like this to an end. So people can atleast “PLAN” when they should be online so they can finally get that item they so long waited for.

I do have to wonder about the demand. I have the white ones but only use them on my norn (it fits well with her overall themes). Even on her they are awkward most of the time.

As to timing, it is anyone’s guess really when an item that left the gem store will come back. If it were known there would not be the “have to buy it NOW” rush if you knew you were not going to need it for another, oh, 6 months. Given it just returned recently for the anniversary sales though I would be shocked if we saw a return before the summer. With the stock of things not available right now anet is not in a crunch to bring things back every few months. Customer want and time it has not been in the store are not always good indicators, look at the requests for bunny ears.

And Still, 6 months for another shot for an item that is as major as those wings. That’s just way to much time you’d have to wait to have another shot for those. Like Screw anyone that wheren’t online at the latest sale, you’re gonna have to wait untill late next year. Sorry, but you’re screwed. Pretty much..

with hallowwen we’ll get butterfly wings and bat wings… and a mummy backpack, I expect the last 2 to be TP material and the first to be the event trophy,

That are obtained through doing Hallowen events that aren’t a 100% chance to obtain in the first place. Doubt it will be easy to get either of these, and only a handful will. Unless i’ve missed something confirming otherwise. Still dont think it changes the subject.

Wings have been on sale a couple times this year. Anet likes to promote really cool items like that on a rare basis so the whole market isn’t flooded and characters remain distinct. Sorry but you may have to w8 for awhile b4 black and white wings come back
