Guild Wars 2

I’m playing my Elementalist for the first time in a while and decided to switch from my usual double daggers to my staff.

The staff is in the invisible bag at the bottom of my inventory and when I double clicked it both daggers appeared in the invisible bag.

A few quick tests revealed that this only works if there’s a free space to the right of the staff, if I put it at the bottom of the bag or in the middle of a row of items the second dagger appears in the top bag as normal.

But even so it’s a really useful change and not one I remember reading in the patch notes.

Yes I liked that very much as well, but I think, I noticed it earlier this year, i.e. before the 26 January. It’s not the first time that the best goodies don’t make it into the release notes.

Seems it was added/changed in the December 1st release.

Reading the Wiki notes for releases can give some of the updates that don’t make it into the patch notes, but not all, as they don’t update them always with the information we non-official editors provide. Of course, you can always check the ‘talk’ pages, as well.

While I’d prefer a second weapon set that I could swap to out of combat, this is still a great improvement. Hooray!

Glad you pointed this out, Danikat, or it could have been months before I noticed it. o_o

Thanks everyone. I normally do read the patch notes on the wiki, but I don’t always go back to see what’s been added.

Now I just need to remember to keep the staff on the top row of my bag and not the bottom.
