My second character came the day after my first. I think my third was also rolled that day. The fourth would have been a few days later.

When I had enough gems I purchased a slot. Now have two spare slots for Revenants.

Made a new one after first got to 80, made 3rd after second got to 60. Recently finished map completion on 1st one but have yet to do all the dungeons (i don’t like those at all), but i do enjoy fractals and jumping puzzles.

You don’t really need to do all the dungeons and whatnot to start a new toon, and making new ones or trying them out makes you more aware of what others can or can’t do in a squad.

So far, it’s been quite enjoyable, with the exception of my ele, which i find to be very very squishy….at lvl 50+ it isn’t as much fun as my other ones.

I made five of them in headstart weekend. Then I added more as needed to test out all the professions. Then more for RP purposes, or to have different armor look options. Bit by bit I got them all to 80, other than the ones deleted in their first few levels once their RP purpose was complete. Only one of my 80’s was created after the NPE/trait revamp hit, though. That game change sort of put the breaks on my using leveling as a fun way to go through the game.

One of my 16 slots is only level 42 or so. He’s an RP shill that I’ve leveled now and then for something to do, not because he’s meant as a permanent character. Another is level 1 because I made him in the last few weeks as a name placeholder.

Yep, I’m an altoholic. To me there’s no reason not to make more alts before you “finish” with one. The more you have the more options you have for each type of content you enjoy.

I made 4 characters in the 1st day of the game.
I played my main till I got to 80 and did a few things, then I started to play with my 2nd toon on weekends (leveling and map exploration) and with my main on weekdays (dailies, dungeon runs, map completion) until I got lvl 80 with my 2nd toon and pretty much repeated that until I got all classes to level 80.

I made a necro first. My ranger was made a few weeks after, and my ele about 3 months later. The rest I have no idea, but for birthday purposes you might want to make a few (assuming you’ll be playing that long, I was really bummed to get my cake gun on my necro which I rarely play anymore).

I made my second character within a few days, simply to see what a different race/profession would look like. By the end of the first month I had all of my character slots full. Within a few months I had purchased three additional character slots, which are full. By my six month mark I had an alt account with five characters. My name is Kapps, and I’m an altoholic.

I made 4 on the very first day of headstart, partially to make sure I got the names I wanted, mostly because I knew I’d want multiple characters. I made a 5th permanent character a few weeks later, when I decided on a profession for her, and I’ve been making temporary characters on and off the entire time I’ve been playing.

The way I approach it making a 2nd (or 3rd, 4th etc.) character doesn’t mean stopping playing the 1st, so I don’t worry about missing out on things I haven’t done on that character. It just means I have more options for how to do the content, or another incentive to do it more than once.

Hello. My name is Kury and I am an altoholic. I think I went through 7 characters when I started before ever hitting level 80. A year or two after I picked up the game again I deleted all characters and made maybe eight more before finally settling on 4. Finally got an eighty as well.

There’s no problem with making alts before you’ve done everything you can on one character in an MMO. Actually it’s quite helpful for finding what class fits you best and what your enemies are capable of in pvp. Get a lot more fun out of the game to.

Yesterday I crafted a new toon to 80.. engi’s are fun.

When did I last make a new character? Probably 5 days ago for key farming that I never actually finished.

When did I make a new character (full stop)? Well at the beginning of the game I made a new character. I made my second, third, fourth and fifth characters that same day too. The other three mains I have were born a day or two after.

The question isn’t worded very well.

I created 3 extras on release day to claim the names I wanted.
Really only play one though, and if we could class-switch, I’d certainly stick to one.

I made 5 characters 10 minutes into the games pre-release. and 13 more between the first three years of the game being out.

I just made a Elementalist the other day.

The last character I made was before the NPE feature pack.
