Guild Wars 2

Im pretty new to Guild Wars here and was just wondering at about what level do I start to see more players I can quest with. It seems from what Ive seen its pretty vacant. Maybe I just have to explore more.

When you go into WvW or Lions arch. Don’t expect people to be around in open world unless there is a world boss in that zone and after it dies it’s pretty much a ghost town again.

You’ll find players around starter zones – Queensdale especially for the train. Other than that I believe it’s quiet until nearer endgame (could be wrong – I’m only lvl 50 myself).

If you want to group try LFG or map chat to get some people together. For conversation and to stop it feeling so empty, join a guild too – also another good source for grouping

Probably depends on your server. If you guest to a server like Tarnished Coast you’ll see people more often.

Aurora Glade gets busy around 7-11pm GMT. Peaking around 8/9ish.

But there’s still only certain areas that will be very busy. The main open world, you’ll normally only pass 1 or 2 people or so.

If you want someone to hang out with, ask if anyone will explore with you. I often get one or two people who will join up You can ask in your server or here. If here, let us know what server you’re playing in.
There’s alot of helpful, fun, nice players here.

If you’re looking dirt period to adventure with in open world, one way I’d to just announce yourself in map chat. Type /m and whatever your message is.

You can also use LFG, but seriously who looks in LFG for open world?

PvE is boring in this game so few players venture out past farming bosses/dungeons or playing WvW once they have gone through with a character. For the most part, you are on your own when playing open map PvE.

The failure IMO was a really crappy loot system. The reason Diablo, Borderlands, etc do so well is the loot system coupled with mass destruction. Furture MMOs should consider these as cornerstones of design.
