I was playing from day 1 but after a few weeks i started another character (my main) and so i deleted my first character.
Is my first birthday my game start date or the day my oldest character is still active?

Each character’s birthday is one year after said character was created.

I kept my first ranger around for exactly this and her birthday is GW2’s birthday! The others were created some 2 months later due to appearance tweaking.

I only have one character out of nine that wasn’t created on the very first day of early access.
Should be interesting.

Wow, this really sucks. I was hoping that we would get a random mini from a new mincollection of minis just like in GW1. I mean there are so many more animals and mobs that Arenanet can just make into minis. I mean the first year’s minis from GW1 were just the plain common mobs, then it got better each year. Can’t they do the same for GW2?

Just type “/age”, ( with out the ""), and the game will tell you all what you need to know about “timings” with the active character :P

Ow. Just a mini Jennah? One is nice, multiples are excessive. sigh The nice thing about Guild Wars 1 is, if you had multiple characters was the chance for multiple types of minis including a rare mini each year.

Oh well.

I´m just grateful it won´t clutter up my bank with yet another unused memento.

ok…I started in head start… so does that mean my birthday gift will be given on the anniversary of head start or release day?

But you don’t pay for it, so why? How exactly to you expect to have a rarer free item when there’s no RNG involved?
