If you game on a laptop, go to the basement. (if you have one, and if you’re able to get good reception down there)
It’s only 87 in the house? That’s not bad at all. It’s when it’s gets in the 90s to 100s that I hate it.
My thermometer says 86.
Don’t you have a fan?
3D video or it didn’t happen.
87? That’s cute.
(and for the other Europeans who don’t use the ridiculous fahrenheit system; that’s 30 degrees)
Generally in summer it’s 35 degrees and up here on a good day; the joys of having an atticroom. (which is 95 fahrenheit. eyeroll at ridiculous systems )
The mysteries dissapear and life stands explained.”
Move to Arizona. You’d feel extremely lucky to have the temperature as low as 95 degrees. It’s like 110 degrees all the time here no matter what.

Yeah. But it’s a dry heat. ^^

I use Kelvin and it’s a cool 297 here. You guys and your ridiculous systems.

That’s true, but sometimes it still feels like you’re playing GW2 inside a toaster… that’s inside an oven… that’s inside a volcano.
When I lived in a hot dorm, I used to drape a wet towel over my neck while I gamed.
Another idea is cutting a hole in the side a styrofoam cooler, mounting a fan in another hole at the top, maybe putting a baffle in the cooler, fill it with ice, and cool your room for a couple hours.
If you have access to a water supply, you can coil a copper tube over a fan secured with tape, and flow cool water through. The issue with that is if you live in an area short on water, this option isn’t very good.
Even a simple fan will make the room feel cooler. So get a fan!
Also, your body and computer combine to reject about 500 W heat so the typical room will steadily warm up over time if it’s not well ventilated.
I hope that helps!
87… 110…
what is this potato temperature rating…
Hotter than the backside of a hairy gorilla wearing rubber pants in the congo at noon….
Numbers? Pffff I use colorful and descriptive words to loosely associate feelings in less than exact terms that are open to interpretation…..You guys and your ridiculous systems.

Celsius is just as arbitrary, the only it has going for it is it starts at zero where water freezes and ends at 100 where water boils.
I struggle to game (or in fact do anything) at anything higher than 22 degrees… us Brits can’t cope with hot or cold XD 25 is a heatwave here, and I got burned badly even with factor 30 cream on!
Window open to let in cool breeze. It’s 83 F (28 C ). Might need a blanket tonight. ^^
Today’s high was 101 F (38 C ). Thank goodness for air conditioning. Kept the house at a cool mid 80s.
