The Devs might know. I doubt anyone else does, unless the Devs have stated when the next balance patch is expected (I’ve not seen said announcement). I would not expect it to be any sooner than 2-3 months with the release of Episode 6, or maybe 2-4 months or so after that, with the expansion.

Of course, I could be (and am often are) totally wrong. =)

Good luck.

Expansion comes around october, so the next balance patch will be around march next year, if not later.
There’s no point of a balance patch right before new specializations are introduced with the expansion coming.

They’d be silly to balance before the expansion and new specializations come out. Why would you do a balance now and then again in 4 to 6 months? They are probably doing internal testing right now on the professions, and will have the balance set when the expansion drops later this year.

There will probably be some kind of balance patch coming with the expansion based on internal testing of the new elite specs and balancing those in particular. There’s rumor that Reaper will get adjusted to be a power spec (remove chill bleed and make chill do direct dmg).

Ill love to see how power reapers sustain will be without BB. Unless you can one shot multiple targets with new deathly chill or increase sustain greatly fpr a ppwer reapa no one will take it in wvw.

I’m pretty sure the expansion will have some major balancing things.

I thought they had a balance patch about two weeks after the end of the sPvP season?

Getting an expansion in October means another 5 months at least.

We got 2 balance patches in the last 5 months, wfich are usually done a couple of weeks after a pvp season finished.

I expect another 2 balance patches between now and the expansion, with the first one coming in 9 or 16 days.

I hope not, sort of. Or I hope its power support is improved without making it condition-free. The traitlines aren’t “Condition Damage or Power Damage”. Reaper is “Melee Necromancer”, not strictly “Power Necromancer”. Berzerker is “Enhanced Aggression Warrior”, not “Condition Warrior”.
