Guild Wars 2

Three of my friends bought GW2 this week based off of WvW and wanted to join me and our group of friends that play WvW. They don’t want to make characters and pay $30 to later transfer so they have stayed up until 3 A.M each day trying to get in but with no luck. Are there any certain days or times that SOS is not full? Thanks.

If they are willing to delete all chars they can transfer for free, but it’s only every 7 days and the first time someone picks a server, it starts the 7 day countdown.

If they want to get in the game on another server and play for a week to see how they like it they could do that and then delete and try to transfer.

Other than that, night time is supposed to be best. They have to just keep trying and hope to hit it when someone else transfers off.

They don’t want to get attached to a character or feel like they are wasting their time because the character will be deleted anyway. Thanks for the response though.

flesh wound didnt seem to understand the issue is not that your friends need transfer funds, but that the server is at max capacity and you can’t transfer to a full server. I dont know an answer for you but SoS lowest wvw activity is late EU (around 2-3pm MST). Late at night in the US is the ocx timezone which is usually pretty well populated and NA prime is well populated as well (unfortunately this doesn’t show in our ppt ;p ).

You probably want to check out the sos website sosgw2.com and ask around in public chat. If you keep that chat window open people OFTEN post when it is open and it makes a dinging noise when people type.
