When is there a regular T4 VB meta?
You’ll need to state EU/NA. EU has the Open Community which organises things like Triple Trouble Wurm and other big events. Looking at the ir calendar, they also do TD and Auric, so maybe they will add a VB on request sometime

For a current MMO, this sucks. I understand that HoT was awhile ago and most people have already done it, but there are some of us who have not and there will continue to be people like me. To go and organize something for a collection piece doesn’t seem worth the time, but again it is preventing me from two achievements…
In my experience (North America), the maps around rush hour (evening-midnight) tend to be T4 maps. They would sometimes fail to reach T4.
I feel most maps need someone to tell people to spread out. (e.g. yelling at them to defend other camps, ping them waypoints so they split on bosses)
Generally the first couple couple cycles after reset tend to have T4 maps. This is on week nights. Weekends will have more. The key is to check the LFG regularly during the times that it’s most likely to have people aiming to do it. I’m speaking for NA.
Another alternative is to hop onto a map that’s about 30 minutes until nightfall and try to organize it. It’s usually best to avoid having only a single tag and players tend to gravitate towards it rather than spread out.

I didn’t realise that it still needed a T4. Yes, that is a shame. T4 was hard enough to get going when HoT was at its peak, so I’m surprised any collection is locked behind T4 at this stage.
T4 isn’t at all hard to get. The problem is that someone on the map needs to explain what needs to be done before night falls, so that people don’t zerg up. I’ve never seen it fail when someone takes the time; I’ve only once seen it succeed without it.
I’ve had great success using the LFG to find an organized map, even off-peak (although I agree with Ayrilana that peak periods are easiest).

Thanks for the reply. Yeah my problem is that I don’t/can’t play at peak times. I do watch lfg regularly when I am on. Twice we have given out directions and were seeming to organize, then popped up a HP train god and then it all went down hill.
If you’re on off-peak hours, start up your own LFG about 5-15 minutes before night starts. Take the time to ferry people in and try to ensure people spread out. Ideally you’ll find some other people who can help organize with you, so you can get subgroups set up and have your better players handle the camps that are more dangerous. Many camps can be soloed, but some of them are rougher and should have 3-5 people. No camps should have more than 5 people, as that’s wasting manpower that could be better spread around.
If you can defend every camp every time they’re attacked, then you won’t need to kill every canopy boss to hit T4. If you can’t defend every camp, then killing every canopy boss will help make up the difference. Escorting soldiers, building up defenses and killing veteran Mordrem in events will also nudge the bar up, so if you’ve killed all five bosses but aren’t quite at T4 yet, hunt down events all around the map and finish them to push your map over the top!
