"When it's ready"
If bugged voices and a game crash are forcing you out, you probably don’t have a lot of patience anyways. I spent 7 years on a game (F2P aka P2W) where bugs were expected to a degree that you can count on at least 20+ people on each server checking after each patch if certain trade/duplicate glitches were re-introduced after being “patched” every so often.
Oh your AOE circle farmed all the herbs in the area it covered? 1-2-Farming Easy Peasy.
Oh World-Boss #1 has a disease condition that affects everyone in a certain radius, and it didn’t reset once leaving the lair and therefore infected the entire game and docked 1000 health each second leaving the game unplayable? Yay.
Oh, you’re auto-attacking the mob you’re standing on, but your “Target is not in range?”
Dexterity stat doesn’t increase at stated percentage and evasion is broken? Have fun Archers- we’ll see you in 5 years when you finally cap and we’ve been sitting here for 4.5 (and lol @ your broken damage for 7 years and still counting).
Oh, a Gladiator can glitch their skills to 0 cool down and break PvP? That glitch existed for years. was patched and showed up again. Utterly hilarious.
I don’t have much sympathy for anyone that complains about a few aesthetic bugs. =/
During ranked PvP matches, things like being able to revive allies, and having client crashes, is a lot more significant than aesthetic bugs. If my issues were strictly aesthetic, I wouldn’t have a problem with it at all; but the bugs that I’m encountering are having a permanent affect on my rank, and for someone as competitive as I am, it’s driving me nuts :P
I like how no matter how awful the patches are, there will always be sympathizers trying to defend Arenanet. This patch broke so many things which is quite laughable and sad really. Even Blizzard has higher standard than this kitten.
I like how no matter how unreasonable someone’s expectations are, they still try to justify them by using hyperbole.
You used the word laughable and sad. I agree completely.
You can’t be serious, the amount of things they broke this patch is unreal. If expecting a patch to not cause bug in almost every aspect of the game is unreasonable then whatever, I am an unreasonable person I guess?

What are the “so many things” it broke where you can laugh about it?
And I love no matter what Arenanet does there will be those who are negative to them all the time.
Again, look around the forum, I really do not want to repeat myself over things that people have clearly stated over and over.
Guy is expressing his worries about stability of game build. He says he’ll wait until it’s fixed. Why are there ppl taunting him or asking to get his stuff? He’s not leaving, he’s making a break which is kind of wise if he’s not satisfied with the game now. And some of you dare call yourself “the best mmo community”.
Exactly – thanks! I’m not saying I’m leaving forever, I’m just taking a break (hopefully it’ll only be a couple of days) until these bugs get sorted out. I’ve never said I would quit guild wars (1 or 2), as I feel they’re the top 2 games I’ve ever played. But as I primarily pvp, I’ll be taking a break from the game until the bugs are fixed, as the ones I mentioned are essentially making pvp broken for me.
It has nothing to do with being impatient, or whining about how buggy gw2 is relative to other games (past or present). All I’m saying is how the game currently is causes it to be unplayable for me in the gametype I prefer.
OP all i have to say is this you submitted bug reports on these game breaking bugs you have been encountering correct?

The in-game bug reporting tool was, no joke, bugged. The issues I was having have already been posted, so I’ve just made this post and one other regarding the issues I was having.

well if that other post was in the bug report form then good you did your duty as a player of GW2 to make it a better game
I’ve had very few bugs so far, and it looks like most of the issues people are having are fixed now. No need to stop playing…
