I’m running the ‘Inmortal Guardian’ build I saw on reddit some time ago. I like it very much, and I drop my mesmer (which I don’t like how it behaves at PvE atm) to use my alt guardian to face FotM dungeon.

I’m on lvl 11->12 atm, and I was expecting to follow the stats of the build I was using, but I just notice that my progression have been BLOCKED because:
1- There are no crafteable ascendant items with Tou and Healing Power atts.
2- Crafting another one with random atts, that breaks my build seems pointless to me, because it will be bond to my guardian, and once cleric ascendant recipes are made, I’ll need to craft it again, which is a huge investment, which gets doubled pointlessly.

So if I need to break my build, to keep progressing in FotM, I’ll be pretty sad :/

tl;dr: When will we get cleric ascendant craft recipes?

Yes – we understand your point, no problem! A few people have mentioned this already. I don’t understand why there isn’t an ascended back item with +Healing on it either. Or why the only rings that have it are those with all stats.

There are even back items with Magic Find for goodness sake – from doing dungeons! But no +healing.

I guess anyone using Cleric’s gear has to settle for the Koss on Koss back item (Power/Toughness/Vitality) and put in a Vitality/Agony Resistance infusion. That’s hardly ideal though because you’re forced to lose +healing that you had on your inferior tier of gear in order to pick up some Agony Resistance.

As you say they might release +healing ascended gear in future, but then we need to remake an expensive item.

Sigh. ArenaNet is just bad about some things like that. For example, players can’t craft the Rabid (Cond / Prec / Tou) stats as an Exotic piece of jewelry. However to compensate people, I’m seeing these stats show up on some of the new Ascended stuff. Based on that prescedent, I’m expecting the Ascended grade Cleric items to probably be offered through Fractal Dungeon #2 in mid December (or maybe a content update after that).

Yes, it’s completely unfair. However one of the points of a gear grinding system is to create enforced time sinks, so forcing people to go back for Cleric gear at a later date would help to accomplish that goal.

Thanks god the pink items are account bound, so I can reuse some of them with other characters, but….

Getting koss on koss, with vitality, when agony hits a percentage of the HP, seems like an awful idea.

with a lot more stats too. Enjoy finding them
