The bot situation in this game is beyond out of control.

I’m in sparkfly fen at the united arcanist lab and is literally a pile of bots there so thick that you can’t even target each of the bots to report them. There must be 15 bots piled on top of each other.

What the hell is going on? Why does ANet do NOTHING about this?

In many zones, I feel like bots outnumber players. I guarantee bots outnumber players in sparkfly right now. Easily.

So much for players wanting a challenge, eh? There must be an ungodly amount of cheating scumbags playing this game to require so many bots to feed their gold buying and powerleveling needs, right?

It’s really unbelievable. The number of bots in this game is completely ridiculous. I don’t know how any 3rd party scum could possibly need so many. It would be comical if it wasn’t ruining an otherwise fun game.

Permaban all cheaters. Period. Destroy botting accounts, whether it’s 3rd party scum or cheating players. Period.

Do something, anything, other than talk.

There are insane numbers of blatant bots all over the game.

Bots we report day after day are still chugging along. Nothing is ever done about them. ANet is utterly failing here.

Closing and deleting threads regarding this topic isn’t making you look any better either.

They are doing something.. it’s called having software tools to identify bots being developed. That takes time. Unless of course you are willingly to risk getting caught in the crossfire.

Also they posted 4 days go on what they plan to do. Acting too hastily is just as bad. Not like mass perma bannings alone does anything anyway. 4 days. I repeat… 4 days. Chill out.

Indeed. It doesn’t even require using the search function. Just a couple of clicks…
