I saw that you all fix the Lake Doric turret farming which is ok for me players will always find a new way to farm anyway I’m posting this topic because today is the day for The Shatterer daily , No fly zone Achievement I only have credit for 8/20 bars broken so far
I’m in the full map plenty of people but they all seem to be focus killing mobs standing around and aim at boss rather than focusing on the bar. so I assume that Smash the dragon you might get it from on patch-day after and a few day after that Not a single Time. You create this achievement thinking that people we help to win it but the truth is people won’t easily cooperative.

It will also be the same with the Current Events people doing it alot on the patch day and what will it be after that ? Dynamic level adjustment won’t help it still difficult to do it with low players anyway and its feel kinda boring.

You could try to do Shatterer with an organized group. On the eu servers, gw2ts.de (German community) does Shatterer on a regular basis with this achievement. I’m sure other communities do it as well.

Maybe this might help by set the timer for player to know when we will have to CC or set it to CC the boss with normally CC skill

B) You do know that there is also a 500 minion kill achivement, which..like myself..loads of people haven’t yet got.

There’s a guild that does organized Shatterer runs (among other bosses) every weeknight for NA. They organize about 8:20-8:30 pm EST for the 9pm pop. They actively aim for the Smash the Dragon achievement so you’re practically guaranteed at least 2 ticks toward No-Fly Zone.

I’m on NA. I can confirm that the achievement isn’t broken — it just takes coordination, which is often most easily done with a sponsoring guild.

Obviously it presents a greater challenge for PUGs. For that, you need to start on the map a bit sooner and collect a core group who are willing to spend much of their time waiting at launch pads, so that they can be in the air on time to break defiance. Ideally, you also want a group dedicated to break the bar of crystals. There will still be people who ignore advice and just autoattack or use profession skills to CC the dragon, but it won’t matter.

It’s actually even more stringent than that. The cc window is very short, and the bar way too big. This means that the only reasonable method of breaking it requires using bombs from a large number of flyers – which requires all that flyers to be up and ready to throw at the same precise moment.

That’s not what you can expect from a normal non-guild organized instance.

The cc window really should be made longer, and the bar balanced around profession skills, not the flyers.

Offer a chance for a set of unique skins (such as the Sunless set), with Ascended rarity, and I’m sure it would get PUGged in multiple instances.

If your group is on pad the moment the breakbar appears, most likely they will fail to break it. The succesful attempts have people that organize the rest telling them when to jump. Which most of the time requires voice comm to get the timing right.

Sure it will. But any of those PUGged instances will still almost always fail to break its bar even once.
